So this is interesting news. A member over on B6G was under their 2022 Bronco and spied a rear sway bar. The 2021 models did not have a rear sway bar. Anyone with a 2022 that can check and confirm???

We've heard our whole lives to never buy first year models but seeing that there was no break in production from 21 to 22 MY's has there really been any tweaks or corrections on the 22?

There's anecdotal evidence that '22 SAS gets rear sway bar where '21 don't have it. I'll be able to add a data point to this study in a couple of weeks when my '22 shows up.

I think most of the changes were pretty much cosmetic to some of the Trim Levels, there were a few large changes however that being the Modular Bumper disappearing off some trims and that now turning into a must purchase accessory, possibly the rear sway bar in a Squatched Bronco as @Heynow14 has stated. I don't know or I haven't heard of any interior changes that were made, if there was I'm sure someone will correct me on that.

Excellent question. I often wondered how alterations, corrections and/or improvements were implemented in a constantly moving production environment. It must really wreak havoc with the production line when someone says “Hey, hold up! We’ve gotta do this differently.”

Maybe we can get this to take off with some more posts....
If this is true, I thought I heard something about that it was only on a Squatched Bronco. If this is the case not getting my Bronco so far has been frustrating, adding another Sway Bar would mean you will lose more Articulation. This to me would be a step backwards on making these Broncos "Capable"of doing everything a J**p can do. I really hope this is not true....
What would they do, add another Sway bar disconnect.....
then you're talking about adding another $3,000 on top of the price now....

All 2022 SAS 4-door Broncos will get a rear sway bar. A properly installed rear bar will not affect articulation that much - if at all. Front is different. A rear bar will help with body roll. I, for one, welcome the rear bar on my '22 SAS - coming soon to a garage near me. A week or two...

Also... if you don't like it. It is like stupid simple to remove. Handful of bolts, and boom, it is gone.

Personally I rather have it.

Can someone use a big red circle to show me what we're looking at? That looks like a control arm.

BEHOLD!! My beautiful red circle.

EDIT: Whoops I failed at circling it completely because I'm doing this on an iPhone. New picture... this time I circled the sway bar completely instead of cutting it off.

As small as the roll bar is, I can't see it making a lot of difference in articulation. As others have stated, it would be really easy to take off if you didn't want it.
You could probably sell it to someone with a MY21 as I heard that everything is there to bolt it right up.

Probably has something to do with the roof rack on the Sasquatch. I’m sure we all remember the explorer rollover thing a few years back
