2 Door vs 4 Door

Has anyone that started with a 2 door bronco and made the switch to a 4 door regretted it?

I really love my 2 door. It's perfect for just me. I love how nimble it is on the trail, able to make tight turns with ease which really helps on some of our Ozark trails. But I know there are obstacles where having a 4 door makes tackling them a little bit easier.

Also, the times I ride with my family (which is like maybe 6 times per year), we're not taking my vehicle since my family can't really crawl in to get in the backseat.

I'm also reminded I have a 2 door every time some new accessory comes out that is only offered for 4 door versions.

I'm basically trying to figure out my next Bronco and whether it would be a 2 door or 4 door. I know I want to upgrade and get a Badlands or another trim where the electronic disconnect is available. Lux package would be a nice to have for the 360 cameras but not absolutely necessary.

Anyone have any thoughts?

For the
2026 model year, the 2-door 2.7L Bronco is effectively extinct in the standard lineup, making it significantly rarer than the 2-door manual.

While you can still easily order a 2-door manual in the Base or Badlands trims, the 2.7L engine has been almost entirely removed from the 2-door body style for 2026.

2026 Availability Breakdown
  • 2-Door Manual: Remains standard on the Baseand Badlands 2-door models. It is paired exclusively with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine.
  • 2-Door 2.7L V6: Sources from Bronco Nation and early dealer guides indicate the 2.7L is no longer an option for the 2-door Badlands or Base trims for 2026. To get a 2.7L V6 in 2026, you generally have to move to a 4-door trim like the Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, or the new Stroppe Edition.

Time will tell, once the Mardi Reports start coming out for the Broncos we'll see what the rarest configurations are. We did a deep dive on serial numbers on the "23 2 door Heritage models over on 6G and the latest one we could find was I believe #234 on the last day of production for 2023. Mine is #076. This passes the eye test as well as I almost never see another one out in the wild.

So my initial order back in the crazy days was a base 2. Door manual, I now have a four door badlands, manual, and I know your breakover angle changes, but it's such a tiny amount, and I know my current dog loves being able to just jump in the back seat. Having four doors, it's so much easier than when my dog got in my two door also, my friends like it more. They have way more space and the cargo room is better. I know the 2 door looks way cooler. But if you need the space, just do the four door I have no regrets, even though I'd still like to have a two door because I think it looks way better im keeping my 4 door.

also, yeah, gone from a base to a fully loaded badlands. It is so nice. Having all the toys 360 camera is awesome. I haven't needed the sway bar disconnect yet. But it's nice to know it's there
And I do love the copilot plus on long drives.

just don't get the soft top or at least the one that was offered on the 1st generation. It's what's on my bad lands and it was fun to open the top on Moab, but otherwise it's piece of crap and I hate it, and it's such a pain putting stuff in the back because you don't have the glass door to open anymore. So you have to lift up the whole back part of the soft top and it sucks. And I had an early hard top with no insulation, and yes, it was loud over sixty. But the soft top's worse and I would take an early crappy hard top over my soft top.

But the 2-door just looks way more cool than the 4-door when the top is off. Just sayin'
