First Look on a Bronco: Hot Pepper Red

Ford Motor Company has provided these images of the first look at Hot Pepper Red on a Bronco. The color, available in 2022, will be a cost option and an alternative to the retired Rapid Red

Don't get caught up in the details. They won't make it to production. They probably just screwed up the masking job, that Bronco was green last week. General idea will though: it looks way cool on a Bronco!

Not my choice but I sorta like the color but how is it that Ford is rolling out this and the green color as a MY22 when they won't be able to produce all of the current orders in the cue now pushed to MY22 or beyond?? So will Ford be allowing "new" orders to further push existing orders out?

I think it looks great on the two door. I think it just looks okay on the four door. Maybe its just a little much on the bigger truck. Still, much better than I thought it was going to be- I think that color looks really lousy on the Ranger so color me pleasantly surprised.

Having now seen several different colors in person, I have discovered that colors I don’t necessarily like or care for actually look much better in person. So I am gonna go out on a limb and say that the new hot pepper red will look spectacular in person.

Would you happen to know if Ford has a Jerry Can painted with HPR? I thought I saw a picture this last weekend with the Jerry Can sitting in a row with the other red cans so you could see the difference in the shades. I was in a hurry so I didn't even notice who posted or where I was looking. Did BN happen to post this picture somewhere?

Another boring color more suited for an Explorer or F-150. Same as that new green. Too similar to the outgoing Rapid Red. So many fun colors in the rainbow to make the Bronco stand out and be different. And they still choose to play it safe.

Can I order mine with Burnt Orange?

That looks like the coppertone metallic they put on the 79 f100, it works on fords
Looked it up itd Medium Copper,its real orangish in the sun.My brother had that color on his F100. Looked great

Any red just looks so good on these… woulda been my 2nd choice after Area 51

Dammit, really love that color, but my Rojo Rapido will be a bit of a collectors item.

Before I was old enough to start school, my parents would sometimes take me to this babysitter. She loved to make me Cambell's Cream of Tomato Soup for lunch. With milk. I HATED that stuff!! :sick::sick::sick:

The pics I have seen so far of this "Hot Pepper Red" look exactly like cream of tomatoe soup to me. And I just can't do it!!

Everytime I will see a Bronco with this color, this is what I will think. "Cream of Tomatoe Soup" Bronco!
