First Look on a Bronco: Hot Pepper Red

Beginning with the 2022 model year, Bronco customers will be able to order their vehicle in Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, pictured here in these images provided by Ford Motor Company. Hot Pepper Red was first introduced in the Ford lineup on the 2019 Ranger. The color will be a cost option on the Bronco.

2022 Bronco Colors

As previously announced, Ford has made several revisions to the color choices, including adding Eruption Green and extending Cyber Orange availability to Base and Big Bend models.

Colors available for ’22:

  • Shadow Black
  • Area 51
  • Velocity Blue
  • Iconic Silver
  • Carbonized Gray
  • Cactus Gray
  • Oxford White
  • Race Red
  • Cyber Orange
  • Eruption Green
  • Hot Pepper Red

Look for an upcoming side-by-side comparison of the Hot Pepper Red, Race Red, and the retired Rapid Red.

  1. Wait, if those are MY22′ who is getting them, assuming no one ordered those colors to begin with? AM I missing something-are these destined for dealers without an existing buyer?

  2. The 21 orders getting pushed to 22 will have to convert their (our) orders to the 22 color options if different from what’s going away (my Antimatter Blue).

  3. I was hoping they would come out with an army green or maybe the desert tan.
Came close to pulling the trigger on an army green 4Runner but decided to give Ford another 6 months. Don’t know how much longer my Jeep will hold together

  4. Why in the world would they get rid of the Rapid Red Metallic?! Hot Pepper Chilli is an ugly color and doesn’t stand out like the Rapid Red. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Went to order Sport and not available in rapid red. #bigthumbsdown #fixitjesus
