Ford Moves Dealer Selection Cutoff to March 19th

Ford updated the Reservation and Product FAQs on the Ford Bronco site this morning. Information that was first revealed in the Q&A that Bronco Nation published last night was included, with some new information regarding the dealer selection cutoff date. Reservation holders now have until March 19th, 2021 to select the dealer that they would like to work with on their Bronco.

Ford previously moved the target date for converting memberships to orders to mid-January. The previous dealer selection cutoff date was in late January, leaving Bronco reservation holders very little time to shop their builds to dealers other than the one automatically selected in the reservation system. Now they will have from mid-January to March 19th to find a dealer that they’re comfortable with.

To change your dealer, reservation holders should call Ford Customer Support at (800) 334-4375. The FAQ also notes, “changing dealers does not impact a customer’s reservation ID, vehicle details, or the associated timestamp.”

From our Q&A with Ford that aired last night, we also learned that Ford is setting March 19th as the cutoff date for orders to be submitted prior to the initial Bronco production plan being finalized. We’re continuing to work with Ford to get your Bronco questions answered, so submit them in our forums.
