Labor day Moab top of the world meet up/ride

Ok, talked to the Boss (wife) and we have decided to leave a day earlier and do the Off-Roadeo on Sunday.
We will definitely be going to this event.
Hopefully the Off-Roadeo event doesn't scare the Boss too much and she'll still want to go. :LOL:

When is the best time of the day to be at top of the world to take a photo with the sun in this position to get our own photo like this?

Since I was in the backseat of that truck when they parked it out there (note that it got to be too much for me for the last few inches so I got out!), I went back and looked at my phone for timing. It looks like I took most of the pictures at about 4:56 PM on March 29th. Hope that's helpful.

Might meet Red Rocks 4 Wheelers for their usual Labor Day event, just meet this group for Monday. Could be warm in Moab but comfortable up on top of that ledge. Drove that about 6 or 7 years ago. Ready to drive it again - In A BRONCO!

Looks like RR4W is not going to Top of the World for the Labor Day Safari this year.

You need to put Moab on your bucket list. It is beautiful. And a ton of trails. Look for a book titled Moab, UT Backroads & 4-Whwel Drive Trails by Charles A Wells

Unfortunately I am not going to make it. Due to some issues I have no control of, a week long vacation is not going to be possible in that time frame. You have no idea how bad I want to go.:cry:

I was wondering since you did an off-rodeo yesterday in NH. I was a little Jelly of your life style. Maybe we could meet up while I'm in IN? We'll be almost downtown Indianapolis.

That might be a possibility. Our son lives in Indy so we are down there fairly regularly.
