Any other New Mexico Bronco buyers looking to start up a New Mexico Bronco Nation club? If you are at all interested let me know and I will start setting up a little more formal of a club. We have some beautiful 4X4 locations here in our state and we could probably host some awesome events.

Sounds cool. Reading the event it says I would need some different all terrain tires for mud than what I have in stock. Maybe I'll just have to check the weather to see if it seems like there would be significant mud. Appreciate the tag. I'll be tentative for the 17th and play it by ear.

Sounds good! I'm hoping it can stay dry and a little hotter until then. But, mother nature has a mind of her own.

Just in case anyone is looking for an off-road club to join - please continue reading.
I've been a member of New Mexico 4 Wheelers (NM4W.org) for 21 years. Went to our 1st meeting just 5 days after arriving in Albuquerque (moved here from Indianapolis). They take all kinds of vehicles. Great group of people. Very active club on events and trail rides.
Their June meeting is a picnic. At the locust site of the Oak Flat Picnic Ground in Tijeras - directions below. Bring your own plates, eating utensils, and a dish to share and toys for the kids (I need to check on what this means - maybe toys for tots). NM4W is providing burgers or sandwiches, depending on fire restrictions. If you go on the website, you can fill out an application and will be on the email list and can start earning points to be voted in - they want you to get to know them before they ask you to pay dues. If you are interest in going and would like to meet up somewhere, let me know.

Directions: From I-40 & Tramway, take I-40 east, then Exit #175 (Tijeras/Cedar Crest/Hwy 337. Turn right (south) onto Hwy 337 and proceed south 8.5 miles. At the Oak Flat Picnic Ground sign, turn left onto FR413 Oak Flat Rd. Proceed 1 mile east to the picnic ground entrance, then follow signs to the Locust site. It's a 20-minute drive from I-40 & Tramway.

Thanks!

@AutumnHawk just want you to know that if you do go, I will insist you be behind us. And, I will have a say on who is behind you. I can drive and my husband can jump out and spot you if/when you need one. We will have a strap too. My focus will be that everyone stays safe and damage free. And that they have a good time! Just wanted you to know.

Great ride today! 2 Wildtraks, 3 Badsquatches, a Big Bend, 1 Sport and a '75.
The sport did great! But slit his side wall. So we all took him back out after lunch. 2 others went with him. The rest of took off to find the waterfall. Never found it, so we did the loop backwards. Beautiful weather and great views. Fun little trail. Great people!

You're welcome! But, you deserve the thanks for coming out! The participation is what makes the event!!
It is great that off-roading is a family friendly activity!
Hope you are having a great Father's Day! You are an awesome Dad!

Happy Father's Day to everyone! Sorry I missed the ride...

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a get together for the annular solar eclipse on 14 October. The dead center of its path runs straight through Albuquerque (and my front yard, as luck would have it). I'm trying to gauge interest on that "other" site for people who may want to come out from out of state.

I would be interested in that! I can' commit for a few more days.
North Lake Powell Adventures is doing an event for this. Sounds like fun, but would be pricey. Seeing it local ftw!

Hello, I'm looking for a recommendation of service repair for my 22 Badlands SAS that's having a leaking front differential issue. I don't trust my local ford Dealership, Champion Ford of Gallup, NM to handle the situation, so I'm reaching out for verified solutions. Any info will help and thank you.

Jones Ford in AZ, took care of mine no problem. Covered under warranty. Took two days to get the last part.

Curious as to why you don’t trust them?

Just seen some bad reviews and one of my friends had a bad experience in trying to get his Ford Escape's turbos fixed with little to no avail. So to avoid further complications to my vehicle he suggested I look else where.

My dealership is Jones Ford of Casa Grande AZ. Check with @Darrel, she is in NM and can point you in the right direction.

FWIW- I use Capitol Ford up in Santa Fe. They do good work and have always treated me well. Its a bit of a hassel getting scheduled there though- I think they are like 4 weeks out for stuff. Might be too much of a hike to get there from Gallup.

I dont trust the dealer service shops in ABQ- One of them tried to sell my spouse on replacing rear shocks (which were fine and didn't need replacement) and tried to charge her $300 for a set of wiper blades (which we politely declined) on her crossover. So I drive up to Santa Fe for work.

Sorry to hear about the front diff leak! I have a 21. I like Don Chalmers Ford in Rio Rancho. I ordered from there because their service department has always treated us good with our trucks - even ones we didn't purchase there. Rich Ford could be good too, I don't hear complaints about them. I did not have a good sales experience at Power Ford, but, their service department may be good. There is Capital Ford in Santa Fe too. Good luck! Keep us posted.
