I bought my tickets for Detroit WinterFest yesterday! Last year, with all the snow, was a great time and I'm looking forward to a repeat on Saturday. @alyd09 and I hopped in each other's Broncos for a bit after we had each driven our own for awhile, because sometimes it's more fun to have a passenger.

How I'm prepping:
  • tidying up the cargo area -- I have hiking boots rolling around
  • checking my gear box to make sure the right equipment is in there
  • moving my traction boards into my Bronco. Haven't needed them yet but I will the day I leave them in my house!
  • getting my flag from the shed. My Jeff's Bronco Graveyard mount stays on the trail sight.
  • charging my radios. I have a set of Midlands.

My ORV stickers are good from last year, and Holly Oaks has compressors to fill back up at the end of the day, so I'm basically all set.

Who else is going and how do you prep?

It was great seeing you, Aly and all the other Broncos out there.

Following here. Hope to meet some of you at events this year. I'm in Metro Detroit and I have a second residence in Port Huron area. Mostly fishing on the weekends out of Lexington and Port Sanilac.

This is a great addition to the site. We talked about this feature with Laura a couple of years ago and ended up building our own forums. Unfortunately, forums don't seem to be used much these days, but I think they are a great way to present and preserve content.

Howdy yall!
My name is AJ, bought a 22 Wildtrak 4 door a month ago, and LOVE it. It's my first 4x4, and first truck. I'm super looking forward to learning the ropes, and hopefully meeting some cool people along the way.

Safety Flag. I am up from Southwest Ohio in the Traverse City area for the week trying to escape the extreme heat. Since I’m in the area, I thought I would check out the 60th anniversary bronco fun at Silverlake dunes on the first and second. But can anyone recommend where I can find a 10 foot safety flag last minute and how to best mount it on a capable bumper? I appreciate any of your recommendations. EK.

From what I have been told. It sounds like once you get around the Dune area. They should be plentiful to find. And long with all the passes needed to enter the dunes. FROM WHAT IVE BEEN TOLD. im sure there is better info on here.
Also they make a bracket that goes on trail site to mount a 6.5' flag. Im no help on the capable bumper.
