Hey @David
We are always seeking new tidbits of information. If time permits, could you check out the compartment where the jack is stored? Maybe a pic? Maybe dimensions?
Thank you!

It would be interesting to see what jack they include, especially with the Sasquatch Package.

I was just looking at one of these;
Pro Eagle Talon, more stable for uneven terrain

Great looking jack.
Do you prefer the 1.5 ton or the 2.0 ton?

@BuzzyBud in the videos I watched on the Pro Eagle they recommended the 1.5 Ton Talon for Wrangler type vehicles. They did mention that the 2.0 Ton would be better for the Raptor. If I were you, I would opt for the 2.0 Ton so you are covered for both.

I would not recommend it, but there were some guys who jacked up a truck and drove down the street with the jack in forward and reverse. The jack finally got caught on a crack in the street but was stable until that point.

Nice thing that I saw was that they have a rack that you can mount it in and lock it up. Two good things there: 1. It will be secured in the event of a high speed crash, 2. It should not walk away if the top is off and people have access to the contents of the rig. I also liked that it has a full cover on the bottom that acts as a stabilizing platform if you are in soft ground. The wheels sink but that platform helps keep it from going down more.

I am going to put this one on the list of items to pick up. Hope that helps.

Probably weighs less that a Hi-Lift & takes up just about as much space. Good choice.

I think for the Bronco the 1.5 ton would be good. with the 15” extension

That looks great but it would worry me about the extra weight on the door especially if a big o squatch tire was hanging on it also.

So we got an answer on this. Most of us will need to get an additional jack for on the trail. Here’s the included 2021 Bronco jack. First let’s look at where it’s stored.

In both the 4 Door and the 2 Door, the jack sits below a pull-up-panel in the rear cargo area.

Here’s what’s included in there: a scissor jack, an extension head for the jack, a small funnel for fueling the Bronco if you aren’t at a pump, and the handle and extensions for the jack itself in a nice fuzzy bag, the bag also include. Here are all the items laid out:

The extension head is held to the jack by one of the turn screws that secures the the head to the vehicle when stowed.

Above is the funnel installed for use. And here are the instructions on the fuel door:

The jack is used in other Ford models:

Finally, here’s the configuration in a 4 Door:

Hope that answers some the questions. I realize that there was some hope for something beefier but this is pretty standard fair for something included with the vehicle.

Thanks for the detailed information on the included jack. It was pretty much a given that this would be what they supplied. It’s good to see details on it and it’s storage.

Are the front and rear bumpers rated for jacking the truck? How about the rock rails on the BL? Any Hi-Lift jacking points/slots on the bumpers or rails?

I would think the rock rails would be a great place since they are supposed to be able to hold the weight of the truck.

Might be able to use the tow-points or D-rings on the front bumpers to use a high-lift jack. Rear only has 1 tow point so it's probably not a good jack point. One trick or tip on using a high-lift (link above did not work for me either so not sure if this was covered) is to use a ratchet strap to tie the axle to the frame before you jack it up. That way you keep the spring compressed and reduce how high the jack needs to lift to get the tire off the ground. You need to respect a high-lift, as stated they can be dangerous if not used carefully.

Just got a pop up ad from O'Reilly Auto Parts. Compact 2 ton floor jack for $35. Could be all we need. But first we need a new Bronco.

I would love to see Ford include something a little more substantial with the Sasquatch or 35s, however will not get my hopes up. I definitely think a beefier AM unit will be in order!

agreed there, beefer would be a nice addition but most unlikely.

Carry 3 or 4 short lengths of 2x6 or buy a jack base.
