Hello,

I just recently placed my order with Ford a couple of days ago for a 2025 Outer Banks (coming from 17 Mustang) on it I selected the following options:
- 2.7L
- Lux Package
- Shadow Black Hardtop

Plan on getting:
- Under glow
- FlowMaster FX Axle Back Exhaust
- Ford Performance Tune
- some sort of cold air intake (suggestions welcome)
- want to get Aux switches (shows they’re available in the compare section but not the online build sheet- waiting for dealer to confirm whether it’s available)

This is gonna be my new daily and was wanting to know from current Bronco driver any changes you’d make if any as well as any mods you’ve done that have upgraded your experience. Also wanted opinions on the desert sand color, I was looking at black at first but really thinks it’s kinda basic and will show scratches easier.

Was it just too loud in your opinion or didn’t have a good purr to it?

I would call it more of a moaning sound then a purr. Like I said around town it was OK, but on the x-way it was louder then I wanted. The youtube videos don't do it justice because they are such short clips.

thanks for the info, did you have the sound-deafening headliner?

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

If I’m going off roading the tops coming off, I thought about that as well realized ima go top off when I’m hitting trails especially with AZ weather.

Or you might consider ceramic coating…

Yea, I completely forgot about doing that, thanks for bringing it to my attention. How much did you pay for yours. The place local to me is quoting $500+ with a 5 year 60k mile warranty.

Very cool welcome!

I would break in the engine first before I tune it. I am fussy about those kinds of things. I always do a robust break in and change the oil sooner than later.

Looks like a blast

Yea, I plan on waiting at least a couple of months to do any engine mods. Gonna start with the exterior. Just w it being a new model want to make sure I’m getting what works best; I know the engines are the same but never know if they tweak any electronic settings.

June/July 2020: I ordered my Bronco. People said, "Oh, you're gonna go off-roading and rock crawling?" I was like, nah, just some dirt roads and maintained trails, I'm not that into rock crawling.
Then I went to Off-Roadeo, 6 months after I took delivery of Buckin' Betty...and well...Here we are, I have an entire loadout box of recovery gear, Perf Tune, Roush intake, beadlocks (you know, for all this rock crawling I'm NOT gonna do, right?! LOL)
It's fun, it's capable and it can eat the dollars right through the sides of your wallet, you don't even have to open it. SAS is a great option. I'm still mulling exhaust because I don't want the highway drone but I also don't want tips to extend under the bumper (aka, the rear bump rock slider).
I will say many of the items I've bought/added were because I was on a trail and didn't have something. Sometimes, it takes realizing what you're missing to recognize what you need.
