Tube Steps vs. Rock Rails question

Does anybody know, or can where can I add this question and get a response from Ford.....

Tube Steps are not listed as an Exterior Option for the BD and BL in the B&P. I'm assuming that's because they come with Rock Rails. If one wanted to order the tube steps as an accessory (perhaps via the parts department), pull the rock rails, and install the tube steps, is that a doable thing?

And yea, "anything is possible with a grinder, a welder, and a little ingenuity" and "aftermarket will offer options" and all of that. I'm asking about via Ford or my LFD.

I don't think we know for sure yet. I've seen buggy november-era b&p builds with both on (b&p is notoriously unreliable) And they fit together neatly in the render. But others with more car knowledge than me state that the accessories share the same attachment area so can't be had together

My original wildtrak build had both on. Tube steps for my fiance and the rock rails for aesthetics. Filled in that gap nicely. But again I'm not sure you can order it that way

From what I have read they are interchangeable. I ordered the rock rails as an accessory for the OBX and will have the steps removed.

Hahaha - all good. Both would be awesome but, I'm not gonna push my luck. That'd be too good to be true. Best I'm hoping for right now is, have the tube steps for my daily driving activities (you know, to help my old dog get in and out), and have the rock rails in the garage for when I take the thing out to bash around. I'm thinking it can be done, but wanted to start the conversation here in case anyone knew for sure.

OK.... so I see what yer talking about @ChapEJF

On the OBX (comes with tube steps), rock rails are an "Exterior Accessory".

I'm planning on a BL, which comes with rock rails, and does not list the tube steps as such.

I'm gonna go with, "another B&P 'feature'"

Not technically. My dealer has my print out from B&P, deposit and all data to enter the order once the order banks go live.
