Question on Passenger Assist Handle Option

Are you talking about this kit?

If so, you get the two dash handles (driver and passenger) and the center console one. It doesn't change out the other accent colors in the truck (like the vents, and nets and such). You can get overlays to do those, but thats an aftermarket thing.

That’s exactly what I was talking about. I even missed that it would also replace the driver handle. But I don’t want mismatching accents, I’ll leave it alone.

Yep, no problem. Strange interior color schemes are kind of the Bronco's jam. My Wildrak has Area-51 trim (which I would not have picked) but its grown on me. So much so that when I got a dash rail, I got it in that color to keep the matchy matchy going.

That's a pleasant change. Ford Parts was selling these for $230+ for EACH piece a while back.

The interior A51 colors impacted my exterior color choice. I was fortunate enough to get a 21 wildtrak in rapid red so the A51 interior accents actually look pretty good.

Hi everyone!

I just placed an order for a Race Red Bronco Badlands. Working with the dealer, we figured everything out aside from one. Has anyone ordered the Passenger Assist Handle in any color? I wanted to get Race Red to match the paint job. It shows on the information page for that option that it changes the color of both of the grab handles on the passenger side, but when you look at the interior on the build page, it doesn't show it at all. Does it also change the one by the steering wheel? Does it change the color of the HVAC vents, seat stitching on the marine vinyl seats, the netting accent on the doors?

If it does, I definitely want this option, as I don't think the red and orange go together. My assumption, along with the dealer's is that it does not change the other accents. Just Wondering if anyone else out there has a Badlands with this passenger assist handle option that could chime in.

All three handles are included in this purchase. I know because I ordered the Outer Banks in race red and had the same problem. I didn't want the velocity blue handles. There is a catch though, depending on the appearance of your dashboard. I had to have my husband help me with this part (it is possible, but it takes patience). My dashboard is a coppery color and when the dealership switched the handles out, they didn't take into account the section at the end of each part near the windows. It wasn't extremely noticeable, but for someone with OCD, like me, it stuck out like a sore thumb. My husband was able to fix this by removing all of the screws from each set of handles and switching that particular piece around. I'm now trying to sell the velocity blue handles. Another thing I didn't like were the air vents, which also had the velocity blue. So, I was able to find and order clip covers for those. Now all is right with the world. :-)
