So I've decided on two options either the king Baja kit by brenthal or either the portal kits...both give a lift as well as a wider stance to keep geometry.

Does anyone here have any installed that they like on their vehicle

Portals = $20,000
custom tuned coil overs = $7000
Steering rack and tie rods = $7000
Tires = $3500
Then you have all the other little things... GRMS radio, Can Opener, Procal tune, Lights, Etc. etc. etc....

so rough... $50,000.

You could build a dedicated crawler for less than half that , a vehicle that will out perform a modified Bronco off road all day long.

You are right... BUT that is not what I am doing. I have a really nice trail rig that can go wherever I want and yet is very comfortable on the highway. I also like snow wheeling in comfort. You know well a rock buggy can perform exceptionally in the snow but is cold as hell and to be honest, not that comfortable. I have controlled temperature summer and winter. I have had the rock buggy style.... Not for me anymore.
