Team,

Sometimes you're just sitting back eating a late night bowel of cereal (don't judge me), casually scrolling through the Bronco Nation Instagram posts and you suddenly notice that a certain Ford brand manager is answering questions posted by our followers. In those times, you set down that delectable bowl of honey nut cheerios (again, stop judging me) and run to your computer to ensure that all the forum peeps know the deal. Questions and answers below.

  • If I get the 4dr and upgrade to the hardtop, does that take away the soft top that was originally going to come with it, or do I get both?
    • It removes the soft top.
  • If I get the Badlands and I get the leather seats will they be electric and heated? Also, will it add the carpet on the floor?
    • If you are getting a four door then yes, it will add power. 2 Door is manual seats only, so that you can more easily access the rear seats. Heated seats come in on mid package but that is required for leather seats.

Anyone know the Load Rating of the various tires? ”C” rated tires ride softer and are cheaper. If “C”, would switching to “E” rated tires improve the GVWR? Or are the axles the limiting factor?

Normally, the tires are the limiting factor; although, sometimes you'll see them "matched" to another component. You'll see something like a 6,000 lb axle rating and a 5800 tire rating. The same axle might be rated higher in another application, but they are rated in a manner that appears to "pair" them. Almost always though, you'll see the tires as the limiting factor or least common denominator, something like tires at 2900, wheels at 3195, axle at 6000. You probably know this, but upping the load rating on the tires also impacts the way they ride and how they "flex" over terrain.

Sway Bar Disconnect with Sasquatch? So, I've seen conflicting information about ordering the Badlands and then the Sasquatch. Some say that the 35" will rub with the sway bar disconnected. Therefore, if you order the Badlands with and the Sasquatch, it will delete the Sway Bar Disconnect. What have others heard or confrimed?

That is not true.

They remove the crash bars on vehicles that have SAS because the tires rub on them.

IMO, the MIC top should have been white from the get go, and that should have not even have been a question. Will be in contact with my local body shop to have it painted white, if possible/durable. Imron paint on it may work...

Any luck with the paint. Once I have my bronco I want to paint the top to match, but my dealer said body shops are having a tough time painting the MIC top?
Thought about wrapping it?

I've seen worse typos.
We had one guy in the chat room tied to a board I used to run make a typo. He went to say he was going to kick some guys ass. Look at your keyboard, the L is next to the K, so it was Lick instead of Kick.
That was 11 or 12 years ago and we still remind him of it.

I like the cinnamon oats version...you can eat them right out of the box. :giggle: Don't forget the glass of ice cold milk.
