Guys/Gals,

My local dealership is willing to part with a new 2023 Ford Bronco Wildtrak, Cactus Gray, hardtop, no other add ons, with the capable bumper, for 61,900. MSRP was 67,050. I know prices have been all over the place lately and trending downwards. Is this a good deal? Great deal? Not so great? Should I try to get them lower? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Bronco Nation!! Don't know 'bout the current market, but we paid $67k for our Wildtrak last June. Bronco sales were crazy last year. Another dealership had a Badlands held for us with MSRP just over $59k, and they wanted $69k. We passed on that Badlands and are very happy with our Wildtrak.

Cheers

Compare to other dealers within a 20-50 mile radius, might see better, and drive a little further?

“Is this a good deal?” Is very subjective especially given all the pricing and availability issues related to the 6G Bronco.

Geography, Desirability, Dealer Competition, Manufacturer Rebates/Assistance, Economy and several other factors will all play a part in determining “a good deal” for a vehicle however, given the limited info provided, I would say, YES - this is a good deal. Can you do better? Ya never know unless you ask! Best of luck and hopefully you are able to buy a vehicle at a price you are comfortable with.

Tl:dr - Yes, a good deal!

Thanks all. I should've stated in my first post, it's the central Texas area.

Wait they have a 23 on the lot still. During the late summer the dealerships around here (SATX) had several Broncos but after the strike started, those dried up, so it sounds like they are building inventory again, haven’t driven by a lot in a few months. I can imagine these prices are all over right now, so check a few dealerships around and if you are comfortable with the price go for it. Remember you are doing better than a lot of us early adopters that were happy to pay MSRP and a bunch that payed ADMs of up to $20k, patience has its rewards.

I can’t give financial advice. I have no experience with money; it’s never around long enough for me to get comfortable with it. It just comes and goes.

That said, I can say with certainty that regardless of which Bronco you get, or what deal you strike, you owe it to yourself to attend a Bronco Off-Roadeo. They’ve even got one in Texas, which is convenient for you! 😉

The OP needs to know that he'll get a free ticket to Bronco Off-Roadeo when he contracts or buys a Bronco. If he doesn't have an immediate need to buy a vehicle (my previous ride was on last legs, er, wheels), he could contract for one, attend Off-Roadeo, drive & learn about the Bronco capabilities, then adjust his purchase contract up or down.

OP: At Off-Roadeo, you'll drive Sasquatch models.

23's are still coming out. I waited over a month for one that was "in Transit". It came in January 10th and I picked it up on the 11th. This was a dealer ordered vehicle, I did not order it. Great thing was the X- plan became available on the 10th so the wait was definitely worth it.

All of the Broncos at the Moab Off-Roadeo were Badlands models when I attended in lte February 2022, but only a few were Squatched. I’m not sure if all the Broncos elsewhere are.

I'm hoping to use my "free Ticket", the only issue is there isn't any around me so I will have to do some planning because it will require overnight accommodations. I think the closest to me is in New Hampshire.

Wait, have you ever stayed at a Holiday In Express? You might be qualified to give financial advice after all.

I think below window is good these days. If it’s truly that far below then it sounds like a good deal but only if it’s the model you like. I see so many people buy no. SAS and then spend a ton adding suspension, wheels and tires. Don’t settle. Good luck

We had a WT when we went to Moab July 2022. Went to OR before taking possession of our WT. It was great since that is what we ordered. Not once did we feel we were missing out on the sway/stay bar. More aggressive rock-crawlers may want it but we certainly didn't need it at Moab. 20220709_110247(0).jpg

Its a Friends and Family plan that dealerships can offer, they can give you more $ off, I think it is $1000. the Bronco Finally qualifies for that.

Dang I thought they were past this, But now that I think about it the Strike probably didn't help. we got our MY22 in November 22 and that was late I know they were still delivering MY22 well into 2023.

The X plan is the Ford friends and family discount. It is offered to Ford partners and, in my case, friends and family of Ford employees and retirees.
