A big mistake

So I was pretty excited when I bought my new Big Bend a month ago. Check engine light came on after 6 days, less than 100 miles. Been in the shop ever since and they can’t seem to fix it. Not so excited any more. I did not realize how much Ford quality control has deteriorated.

Every so often a mistake makes it through. I hope they get it worked out for you soon and you have trouble free ownership.

I know when you look online you will find lots of folks with issues. But remember there are thousands of us that have had 0 to minor issues. I’m right at 60k miles and a lot of them on trails and no worries here. There are several with over 100k and I even saw one Bronco over 200k.

It would make me happy to have one of the Broncos that work, but I did not end up with one. I do think it’s telling that after three weeks of trying Ford has been unable to fix its own product.

You have every right to be pissed 😠 off, spend that much money you want things right. I have 18000 on my 24 black diamond and I take it day today day , hoping if something does go wrong it will still be under warranty. Good luck.

That's disappointing. Not to throw your dealership under the bus, @Pazman, but have you had good success with them before? Your Bronco shouldn't have an issue immediately, no, but a good dealership can make or break the ownership experience even further.

I hope you get it resolved quickly, and that you can hit some dirt in your Big Bend soon after. Wipes away some of the frustrations others have faced with delays or issues and reminds why we love these vehicles.

Good morning. Will you send us a private message with more information? I’d like to look into things on my end.

Agree with everyone else here... That's unacceptable.
On such a new Bronco your dealership should absolutely make this right. Hopefully they do.

Yep, been a Ford guy my entire driving life but it seems hit or miss these days. I think Farley is a big part of the problem and hope I can see the day Ford finally gets back to being a brand to be proud of. Luckily, I think I have a good one in my '23 with the only issue being the 4 mic top replacements.

So long story short, have them check the PCM to see if it is going bad. Good luck.
