For those planning the trip to Gunstock for the NH Off-Rodeo, I highly recommend hitting up Wayfarer Coffee Roasters in Laconia, NH for your coffee and breakfast runs. An awesome and unique shop with great food and even better coffee.

I have a recommendation as well. I stopped by Gunstock Mtn last week, bought a couple T shirts, and met 2 different couples from Florida.

Then I drove north, into the White Mountain National Forest and took Sandwich Notch Road south towards Sandwich, NH.

It is not a technical trail, but a fire service road - But, when you get into Sandwich, there is the Sandwich Notch Creamery, best ice cream I ever had! Great story about how it began!

We also really enjoyed the Gilford Village Store for great sandwiches (and desserts!). It's a nice general store with hot food, plenty of snacks, and local goods.

Patrick's pub is nice.....Naswa is a hoping joint as well....neither are dive bars but very cool in their own rights

There are a few around. You might dig the 405. Right up the road is the Ellacoya Barn & Grille, which has an equestrian type theme to it and is fairly fitting for the day.

Never did get to Wayfarer Coffee but went to the Gilford Village Store both mornings we were there. Loved the place.
