Has anyone attended the half day off-roadeo?

Has anyone attended the half day version of the off-roadeo that is open to everyone, including non Bronco owners? I attended the full day off-roadeo in Moab last year in May. In honor of my 70th birthday this May, I decided to do something I love, that also acknowledges that age is just a number. I wanted to attend the full day off-roadeo in Nevada, but the full day is no longer being offered to Bronco owners who have already attended one. So I signed up for the Nevada half day version on May 4. I'm curious if anyone has attended a half day experience and what you thought of it. If you've attended both a full day and a half day, how did they compare?

I’ve attended both. Both in TX. I enjoyed both. As a matter of fact, I was the first to attend the half day. I took my son and we were the only guests. We had the course all to ourselves and a personal Off Roadeo guide just for us because we were the only participant that day. Hard to compare because of that.

I just attended the half day at Texas as well. We were a small group so we did a lot. having done the owner’s experience in NH with 8 Broncos in my group, each obstacle took a lot less time. i noted there was less instructor spotting , possibly because they could see all vehicles at once.

the big difference to me was we just got in and went on the trails. I and the other group claimed experience, but all the basics were skipped. we did a lot of off-roading, and were able to do one twice. I wanted to do their high speed (25 mph) track again but tIme ran out.

I believe you can do the full day again for fee, but it isn’t on their website. Enjoy! Moab is the next location on my goal of all 4!

We actually just did the Texas half day yesterday. Like @Kjadus mentioned, since you have trail experience, you basically get a 5 minute prep speech, then hit the trails. We got lucky, it was us, and one other family so the group was small. The full day adventure group was quite large. The other Bronco owner did this Texas full day adventure before as well.

Since there was just the two Bronco's in our group, we did do stuff the normal half-day adventure did not. He timed it so we spent probably 3:50 on trails, it was great!

We got the anti-matter blue (looked black) Wildtrak, the other family got a blue Badlands. Plus, I think we got a better lunch, met my niece at a nearby BBQ joint! 😁

@RobWTx - More photos from Texas. I recommend it! I had Amy ‘Ace’, an excellent instructor. I had an Outer Banks, folks with me had a Big Bend with worn tires - you may not get the top vehicles as they may go to Owners first. Similarly, owner’s group was large Last Saturday (6 April).

Thanks for all the responses! I live in southwest Colorado and Moab is practically in my backyard. The off rodeo there was fantastic and there is so much off roading to do in Moab. I was in Texas last week for the eclipse, but not at the off-rodeo site. I’m kinda regretting not doing the Texas half day while I was there, but I had traveled to Texas in our Subaru (better gas mileage) and I just couldn’t show up without my Bronco! My husband doesn’t care for off roading but he is coming with me to Nevada. I shared driving with him in Moab, but Nevada is all mine! I’ll post my impressions of the Nevada half day when I get back.

Side note: For those who purchased a '22 model, it will expire I think in June this year. So, book it quick if you want to go, or contact them, maybe they will let you schedule it out further, if you schedule before it expires, no idea.
