Hi Y’all,
I just returned yesterday from my Moab - Off Roadeo that I attended on Friday the 20th. It was great to meet fellow Bronco owners and enthusiasts. I went solo so the guide for our group rode with me as lead…. He was awesome and extremely knowledgeable about the Bronco and a expert trail rider himself. This experience Ford has set up has made my purchase of the Bronco 100times more valuable than I could have foreseen. I advise anyone at any level of experience to check out the Moab experience it was EXCELLENT!!!

I have a Outer Banks as well , after the off roadeo however I’m very confident in what the Bronco can do even without the disconnect …. A few of us went with Kelly the guide for an after hours ride through Onion trail …. Not a difficult trail but over 50 water crosssings … so it was a blast!!!
What GOAT mode did you use for the water crossings in the outer banks? That's what I ordered and I know I'll be driving it in water. Any tips?

I don't have outer banks tips specifically but I can say this. You will be fine in reasonable situations with mud/ruts setting. In regard to the sway bar (stay bar whatever), it is only needed for those that extreme rock crawl frequently. We had the Wildtrak for our Moab experience (and we own one) and it crushed the obstacles with no issue. We went the hard route every time and asked Mandy (our awesome guide) to get us stuck on purpose. A quick front or rear locker got us thru every issue. One of our crew even had a non-squatch and they killed it with 32s. All I know about water crossings is you need to make sure you have a clear path (no hidden impalements) and be mindful of speed. Slower is often better up to the top of the tires.
