OMG! What an AMAZING DAY!

Not sure where to start!

Didn’t have any idea what to expect, knowing I would spend the day WAY out of my comfort zone… (four wheels serve best when ALL on the ground…

We ended up with a large group (15), a great guide (Jaime?), and the most beautiful day. The BadLands they provided performed flawlessly, and I went some places I never expected 1) a vehicle would or could go, and 2) I would ever be behind a vehicle in 1)…

Knew it was going to be great from all the previous attendees comments, but this blew my mind. Was sorry not to see Melissa or Brian there, but was very happy with Jaime as guide. He races in Baja 1000, grew up in Moab, and was driving before most of us ride bikes… His knowledge of the area and focus on technique over technology (which he also covered) was outstanding.

Sonya rode with her eyes open all day… not to say there weren’t’ a couple of ”pucker” moments…

3260 miles in 9 days… OB-1 got about 19.4 mpg overall for the trip, and would have been well over 20 but for the 80mph freeway speeds across Idaho, Utah, and Montana…

More pics as I work through them…IMG_0303.jpeg
UPDATE:… corrected mileage…

Sounds like you had an awesome time in Moab and the road trip. Although I'm pretty sure you meant 19.4 mpg overall and not 9.4. At 9.4, half the of the 9 days would have been spent at the gas station. 😆

BOR is amazing. You just can’t do it justice with words. It is well worth the price of admission.
Glad you had a great time.

I knew it would exceed your expectations, even if you didn’t know you had them! 🤪

I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Moab. It’s unlike any other place and a perfect proving ground for the Bronco. It’ll probably take a few days to process. I can’t wait to get back and explore more of Utah. Breathtaking terrain and friendly people.
