Best of Moab: Food

We had Broken Oar and Moab Public House plus the ice cream place there on the main drag last week. All good stuff. The sweet potato fries at Broken Oar were pretty darn good.

What are the places to grab some grub before hitting the trail in Moab?

Had breakfast at Jailhouse Cafe this morning and it was really good. Coffee was on point too.

I was recently there for the Dixie Off-road Expo, and we ate at Antica Forma which was a great Italian restaurant and Moab Spitfire Smokehouse. You won’t be disappointed with either. Have fun!

I took the family to the Moab Grill tonight. Seems like more of a diner than grill, with a menu ranging from sandwiches and burgers to steak, to pizza, and even pasta. They have some good specialty burgers and great fries. We didn't try the other stuff.
@David could we maybe turn the first post into a list of all the places mentioned, or even a poll for people to vote on their favorites?

Had the Elk Cheeseburger. Took everything I had not to get a shake.

I enjoyed The Spoke on Center. Burgers, shakes, brews and such. I also second Moab Diner, great breakfast.

The Restaurant at the Red Cliffs lodge is pretty good as well and very convenient if you're staying there for the Bronco OffRodeo.
