Newbie here, thinking of buying a used bronco. Is Off Roadeo an option

Can a used Bronco qualify for the Off Roadeo if the original owner didn't participate? I tried going through the sign and registering it, but since I am not the owner yet I don't believe I could determine if the Bronco qualified or not.

The Bronco I am considering purchasing is a 2022 Bronco Bandlands, VIN #1FMEE5DP5NLB09728

Thanks!

Reach out to [email protected] with your VIN, my '22 was eligible since the original owner did not use it. But I think they expire in like June/July so hurry!

Edit: Here is what they set me when I asked:
Hi Rob,

Thank you for reaching out to Bronco Off-Roadeo Program Headquarters. You are eligible to use the credit as long as the previous owner did not use the credit before you. Please fill in your vehicle profile so we can verify it for you. Since the vehicle is used, please click the link provided HERE and upload the bill of sale from the purchase or your vehicle registration document to proceed with the verification process. Without this documentation, we cannot verify your vehicle. For additional information or questions, please reach out to Bronco Off-Roadeo Program Headquarters at [email protected] or (888) 260-5744.

Perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for. I sent an email to see! Thanks!

As long as the vin was never used, you can use the complimentary pass.

I got a response from them, but they won't let me know because I don't own the Bronco yet. Once I do, they will let me know. But even if it is available, it might be tough to use the credit by June/July. It was worth a shot!

I thought I read somewhere a dealer told a buyer it hadnt been used so id ask the seller dealer if they can look that up - worse case is they cant find out either.

You may have a little more time than that. I think it is if you reserve your time by June/July, but I could be wrong. I hope you can still use it the Off-Roadeo is a super nice event. if not Come on Down to Texas and we can do a little DIY Off Roadeo. LOL

Yes, you definitely want to do it. There's a lot to learn, and even with a day's coaching, you get only an overview of what your fantastic truck can do.
You'll use their truck, not yours. Get there early and try and "claim" a truck that closely matches yours in size (2/4DR) and trim.

I will say, I found out AFTER I signed up for the half day adventure and paid for it, my used Bronco was eligible for the full day "free" tour. But, the half day was a ton of fun, and less talking/class time, lol. We basically went 3:50 of trail time for the 4 hours we paid for, and 5 minutes of talking. And the price was not much more than bringing a guest for the full day, so to me, it's a wash. :-)

Nice. I definitely didn't think that the pass could transfer if it wasn't used.
I just reached out to check on eligibility for my Bronco.

If mine is eligible, I'll have to decide if I want to road trip to NH or fly to Moab/Vegas/Texas.

If ya want some good BBQ, Texas. If ya want some night life, Vegas. Sand and rocks, Moab. :-)

well unfortunately, my VIN isn't eligible. And honestly, I'm not digging the idea of paying $800 for a half day adventure.
I'll just hit some trails in Moab next year when I'm out there on my own, with the Bronco Nation videos to serve as my trail guide lol!

Good idea! Only thing I would be worried about, getting lost out there, and ending up on some gnarly trail intended for bigger vehicles. Haha

Ok so I could be completely wrong, but I think you just have to be registered for an Off-Rodeo by that time not actually attend. Again I could be wrong. If all else fails Off - Rodeo is now available to used Bronco owners on a fee basis. Also register for a Ford Pass so you get points for your vehicle purchase. These points can be used for parts, merchandise and service.

You definitely want to attend the off rodeo.
And do the entire experience, don't leave after dinner, stay for the campfire.
We did the half day in Vegas and just did the full day in Moab.
You want to go.

We did Nevada and they didn't do a campfire but I've heard others do.
