Great job tonight trying to get all the answers that you could and confirming things that were not completely clear, even if they were tough answers.

Yes, agreed. There were a few "corporate speak" type responses for sure, although understandable that some information Matt just can't provide (if he wants to keep his job anyway).

But overall a lot of clarity was provided. Awesome job to the BN team, and thanks to Matt for sitting in the hot seat.

I hope there was value to you all and that we got a lot answered; I don't know how many were submitted through the question box. I do think a lot of it was simply confirmation of stuff people already knew, but it's good to hear it from Ford. I think I'll see where more clarity is needed once I rewatch -- I do my best to listen, but some of it gets lost to my brain as we're juggling. Those are the areas we'll ask for more on when we get our next opportunity.

I really appreciate everyone being there with us, and I too am grateful Matt was able to come on. There's a lot to learn, and I learn so much from you guys in the community. Hopefully we're paying some of that forward through these streams.

Interesting live stream. There were some pissed off people on there. Crazy thing is that this is pretty much the same as two years ago with the exception is that at the end of MY 23 there is no rollover and no PP. when they started the original PP they said it was good through MY23. I am glad I don’t have to go through it again. And I wish people would realize that allocations have always been part of how Ford sells to dealerships. If anyone looked at the Ford reservation documents fro 7/7/2020 it says how it works. I have posted this stuff several times since January 2021.5D48490F-F70C-4CD9-B01B-2E78906D6A96.png

I would be shocked if more than 2% of the reservation holders actually read that.

I myself only read roughly half of it before deciding to place a reservation. (I only checked to see if reservations required a purchase and what the cancelation terms were.) If I remember correctly, I didn’t go back and read the rest of it until after I had placed the reservation.

Most people I’m sure read the words “Terms and Conditions” and promptly ignored it. But the fine print is where all the important stuff is. 😉

I actually think I may have read that over 2 years ago but I do not recall any mention of allocation but might have missed it. It kinda was many moons ago. Im not reading it now, thats for damn sure!

I appreciate the BN team setting this up with Matt and clarifying some stuff. I do feel some of the same questions were asked multiple times though & some confusion on the constrained items, especially the part when Jordan asked if all 3 had to be dropped (4door) or 2 items (2 door) to get the $2500. I took away from Matt that if you had a package with only 1 or 2 constrained items on your build that you could drop the 1 item or 2 items and still qualify but Jordan seemed to think it had to be all 3 items with 4 door and 2 items with 2 door. It doesn’t pertain to me but trying to help people out who have a build with only 1 constrained item of the 3.

Good Lord, @TK1215 is there a CliffsNotes version of that reservation white paper? 😵

I enjoyed the live stream. Thank you, @Laura, @jordan, and @London for your time and desire to provide a town hall meeting for the community. I appreciate the effort it takes to distill complex information into easily digestible chunks. I do think Matt Winter was helpful in answering most of the questions directly and completely, but some questions were answered like a politician flanked by lawyers. I automatically tune out "marketing-speak" as soon as I hear it, but again, it was good that someone from Ford corporate was willing to field questions from understandably concerned and frustrated customers.

At this point, I am admittedly relieved that I no longer have a dog in this race, but I still want everyone who ordered a Bronco to GET a Bronco. The one they want, not the one they'll settle on.

Read through all of this. Yes a reservation does not guarantee a vehicle, but it did not state that an order doesn’t. Also it has been YEARS since Ford has “updated” me on a delivery time table of my bronco. The roll out was terrible and should’ve been handled much better, there’s no way around that.

@jparker The original fender badges were shown with color accents. The preorder only has them in black. Is there a plan to release the color versions?

I hope Ford reads these posts. I bought my first new 79 F150 at 16 years old from money made working on the farm. Since then I have bought 15 new Fords. Due to Ford having no loyalty to their customers I am now looking at other brands. Toyota makes fine products as far as 4wd vehicles goes but I always wanted a Ford Bronco...... so I waited and waited until Ford decided to start making them again. I have driven my stepdaughter's Dodge Diesel 3/4 ton and it's very nice and drives as well as my Super Duty- just not as powerful. So when it comes time to purchase a new vehicle I will now take a hard look at these brands-

Ford? Canceling things?
Just bubbling up a previous statement I made so as to let Ford not be blamed for this -- They had asked about upcoming livestreams previously; we got the go-ahead to interview Matt that day but multiple convos were happening. We read the go-ahead as interviewing him on-camera. They weren't quite ready so we pulled back.

I know they look at the comments on BN, especially concerning this news. I empathize with you on being disappointed.

Well in that case, I would like to say....Hey guys! I'm a first time Ford owner....no thanks to you.

I'm also a LAST time Ford owner....THANKS to you.

My wife has been talking about getting an electric vehicle the next time around, and had her eye on the Mach-e. But neither of us have the desire to ever be treated like this by another company ever again. And, as much as I love the Bronco I finally bought off the lot, I will do my best to spread the gospel that you have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE *EVER* SUFFERED, AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO MY WORST ENEMY.

And that's putting it lightly.

Outstanding job last night and much appreciated--will be nice to get the glitchy picture smoothed out--one of the things that came to mind that may help everyone involved, including mother Ford, is to try and explain the Why. We can understand the What--I think it would be valuable to try and condense and simplify (I know, it ain't easy) the "pipeline of production" and how it generally works. Then a high level summary of how the "players" who actually manufacture the pieces for assembly are involved and WHY their respective products are forcing a "constraint" for production. The "Tail" of production--or last tactical mile--is the Delivery sequence. It would be nice to have a general understanding of How that works and Why there is such difficulty in moving completed units from point A to point B. If we can somewhat understand Why the process is suffering from unanticipated intrusions, there may be more empathy for the overall manufacturer (Ford) and willingness to change by its customers (Us!).
