The third episode of our Bronco How-To series will be posted tomorrow. The subject for this week is G.O.A.T. Modes. Be sure to come back by this thread after the video premieres. We’ll have some extras for you and will answer as many questions as we can.
I’d like to acknowledge that many of you are expecting a video on door removal. We get that and are still working on it and will be getting that out as soon as we can.
Note: The first version of this video included an onscreen notation that Trail Turn Assist is only available on the 2.7L EcoBoost Engine. This is incorrect, Trail Turn Assist is available on both the 2.3L and 2.7L Ecoboost. However, it is only available on the 10 Speed Automatic Transmission.

One interesting thing is the separate switches for front and rear lockers. In the Rubicon you get 1 button that turns on the rear locker. Hit it again and both front and rear are locked. There is no front locker only mode. So in the new Bronco will we be able to select front locker only? I hope so. Also it would be nice to have a low-range front wheel drive mode which would give it the ability to do front digs.
I really like how @David and @Nashville Early Bronco are both trying to gather as much information as they can without actually taking these vehicles out on the road. It must be somewhat frustrating for them. I suspect the average potential Bronco buyer on Instagram or YouTube is getting as much, if not more, information than they can handle. Enthusiasts here on BN do have a way of pushing the envelope and that can be fun. In a way maybe we are "challenging" and that can be "fun" for @David and @Nashville Early Bronco. ;)
I understand some potential buyers of the Badlands model might be concerned about not having the Sport mode and may be curious about using Baja mode on dry pavement. As we know the Raptor has Baja mode and some of those owners have been very "creative" as seen in the video attached below. I would welcome any comments from Ford if this is a practice that is capable in the 2021 Bronco.
this makes a lot of sense, if it lets us manual put it into 2wd. Here’s hoping
When Sasquatch is matched to a Base model, are additional GOAT modes part of the package, or does it remain the simple 5 that are standard?

FE same as Badlands?
Ordered: 4-Door First Edition - Rapid Red - Black Seats - MIC Top - Build Date: 10/25
In Garage: ‘62 Red Vette - ‘07 Black Shelby Ragtop - ‘21 F150 Platinum PowerBoost - Rapid Red
Yes, today we confirmed with Ford that 2H is selectable in Baja Mode on Bronco.
Than I guess why add the Sport to Wildtrak? Very interesting, but I'm not going to complain if we can just throw it into 2wd. Thanks for verifying that for us!

So with Baja Mode in 2WD you should be able to do this on dry pavement. We could call this super-Sport Mode!! LOL
I need to see if I can do this in my Raptor. I never tried it.

There are many videos and discussions out there about being able to select a mode then manually select or de-select individual functions to get the desired result . All the G.O.A.T. switch does is select several parameters at once for you automatically . Place in Baja mode then select 2WD and you have sport mode .

I think my only disappointment with the Baja vs Sport is the need to fiddle with settings. For me 90% of the time I'm going to be driving down the road and want to just flip it vs being stopped. Slippery and Sport would probably be the two I would use the most while already driving down the road. When cruising down the road in my BMW I like to flip it into sport to pass a few cars on the two lane highway. In the Bronco I'm going to have the same situation (granted it's not going to be a rocket ship like my BMW). I like the quick throttle response to get going. When the need arises. If the system is smart enough to know at X speed and you pick Baja (because no sport option) it will just set the system to 2WD, then cool. Otherwise looking at the chart it looks like Sport defaults to 4A (vs 4H in Baja) which would be ideal.

So for a manual, all the modes can be created by pushing switches, 4L, axle locks, etc in the base model ?? Is this correct ??

Do these modes actually affect engine output or does it just change trans shift points?
How do you shut off GOAT?

Base model does not have lockers. The one model that should have all the offroad equipment available gets stripped, while the mall crawler models get lockers?

What is the least cost level to get all the good stuff ?? Looks like you need a linear program to determine the combinations ??
