What you guys need is to be the exclusive "first look" site on the Internet for new Bronco news. You should get everything at least a couple of hours before it gets released. I only say this because I see Bronco6G exploding over there, but really shouldn't Bronco Nation be getting all that attention? It's the official forums of the Bronco, after all. I know this is probably beyond your control, but hey, thought I'd throw my $0.02 out there.

Something that would be great is to get some official Ford team members here that are working on the Bronco launch to deliver up to date news that they can get shared all over the internet. I was under the impression this forum was affiliated with Ford in some way so I do not understand why Ford would not "leak" their information here first so that it could get shared across the internet and drive the popularity of this community up.

I am hopeful that over time this community will become the goto place for this newest generation of Bronco buyers. Ford does have the resources though to blow this up and make it huge...

We're all trying to keep it active and help it grow. As I said in another thread the forum here on BN just seems like an afterthought. Just there to have it. It seems they are focusing more on the main site than the forum. But this is where we all come to talk and hang out. But if it doesn't grow people will find another place to hang out, discuss and ask for advice.

I just looked back at my post. Hope I didn't overstep, but I look at this forum and I like the interface, I like the people, and I like the admins. I get on Facebook and it's a disaster. People attacking each other, all the same nonsense I've seen in Jeep groups for years. This is a great place. I have asked some questions here I would never pose on Facebook because I know I'd catch hell for it. This feels more like a real community. I just want to see it grow and do well.

Its going to grow on its own.But being the first to publish factual factory information would help. Leaked info and rumors don't cut it.

My understanding is that Bronco Nation is at least Ford 'sanctioned', if not the 'official' Ford Bronco forum site and fan community. Ford's involvement and attention is key.

I agree with others that having 'official' info from Ford would be helpful. Also, having 'ask the expert' guest spots from the guys who made the Bronco happen would add tons of credibility and make BN the 'place to be' for Bronco info. Add news, offers, spiffs and other goodies from Ford and official gear partners will keep people hungry.

The best thing that could happen, in my opinion, to make this the place to come for Bronco info, would be if all of us members (zealots) are treated like an expert panel of customers. Wouldn't someone at Ford be interested in what us Bronco crazed fanpeople think?? Two way street always makes social experiences more desirable.

I think a Ford discount for Bronco Nation members, like the Mustang Club, would be a huge boost to growth.

Ford would have to pay someone to be online all day long answering questions. Ford is in the car making business, not discussion forums.

The owner of 6G is in the discussion forums business. On top of that, how long has 6G been on the web?

If you build it, they will come. If you don’t maintain it, they will leave.

I somewhat disagree with you. Ford is in the business of making and selling cars. You can make as many cars as you want but if you can't sell them, it doesn't do you any good how many cars they make.
Listening and/or being attentive to your customers is key to selling those cars.

I've been part of several Mustang forums in the past. I know of one forum had a Ford representative that would answer questions and more importantly, would check on orders for people. It was a great service and its exactly what this site needs. If we could get the rep on this forum instead of 6G, it will bring people here. Can you imagine how many people would be here to check on their orders?
It's something the owners of this site need to look in to.

The FB Bronco group is beyond ridiculous. I feel my IQ drop when reading some of the posts.

I’m pretty sure it has nothing to do with the group on there, or Broncos in general. It’s just FB :p

I agree BN needs to grow, but B6G isn't that great, it used to be but it hit it's peak on the reveal, B6G is filled with a bunch of kids and random people talking about something the old usuals have know for months to years, it's shows too as a lot of old regulars stop posting and kinda just dropped off the face of the earth. Both are in trouble as of right of now in my opinion BN needs more "In The Know" people, BS6 is the opposite it has a problem with a lot of people pretending to be "In The Know" and every post is something that was talked about months to years ago but I will say the BS6 has had new photos of the bronco

Not gonna lie - I often find I need a break from the roaring party over at B6G so I'll come over to BN to enjoy a bit of calm. It's like walking outside lol.

I don't always need to know everything the second it happens, from 6 sources at once, with full color commentary.

B6G has been around for a while so it’s comparing apples to oranges currently, but I hope BN takes off, because I’ve noticed the posts over there turning slightly more toxic lately. God forbid someone whose never off roaded asks if they need the front and rear locking differentials or the disconnect bar, you’d get laughed at. We should create a place where people can ask new things and learn. I’m hoping that’s what the Off Rodeo provides as well. I’ll agree with what’s been said already and I think if more people sign up here it will have its place with more posts and conversations.

I don't do forums loaded with ads. When a forum has ads all over, they only exist to put money in their pocket. That is the reason 90% of them are started.

Lol at the comments in here. Y'all sound like some haters who just sprung up overnight like this website claiming to be "by enthusiasts" when in fact it's all owned by a Ford marketing company. Slapping an "official" title on a forum doesn't make it good. It's a cheap shortcut. Just look at Tesla. Enthusiast forums have existed for decades off the backs of people who were interested in a vehicle well before it was "official" in any way. All of the good info I have ever found on this vehicle beyond the press releases was from Bronco6g. The users there have been incredibly helpful in clearing up the misinformation, inaccuracies or total lack of info in Ford's own releases, much of which I see reposted for the benefit of users here.

And ads... really? When Bronco Nation's $70 membership started I got unsolicited spam about it, then every time I visited the site it popped up an annoying ad to sign up for it, then they plugged it and their merchandise during the reveal event when it should have been all about the vehicle and nothing else. Do the math. It will be hundreds of thousands of dollars they will be making from this each year. Talk about existing to "put money in their pocket." Two sides of the same coin if you ask me. At least I can disable one of them. But hey if you'd all like a place to get "official" info Ford has sanitized, scrubbed and sanctioned for public consumption, stay here or try this one. It's real calm in there too.

The only reason I frequent Forums... is it puts me in touch with others who might have the same issues as I do. We do not have to re-invent the wheel every time a problem happens any more. Sure it is nice to gush over the trim and option packages.... but if the site doesn't provide actual useful information that adds value.... it is pretty worthless. The value of a site comes from the knowledge of the users and the admins who run it. What value is Bronco Nation providing right now?

If anyone is familiar with Pirate 4X4 you know that those guys can be BRUTAL...… but the knowledge and experience of it's members are second to none. Ownership has changed and a mind drain is currently going on.... It will be sad if pirate goes away..... but how they have gotten away with some of the absolute insanity that goes on over there is beyond me.
