Bought a 2025 Bronco yesterday. traded in a 2007 shelby gt500 and 2024 bronco sport. did all the paperwork, turned over my vehicles and waited for it to be brought around to drive home, sales rep shows up and tells me there is a recall and ford has issued a stop sale order. I cant get my bronco. today I find out its going to be up to 2 months before I can get my bronco. the dealer gave me a maverick lowner vehicle to get home. luckily I still have my 2013 f350 king ranch

Just click on where it says "Ford Motor Company Rank V" you will get a popup screen, then click on "start conversation"

Please let me know if you get an intelligent answer. I've tried 5-6 time for my weather issue. The last time I got this message they told me how many recalls were outstanding on my truck. Never got one response to help with my issue. I saved all the responses from FORD.

Hi there. I’d like to assist with your concern. Could you please send us a DM with your VIN and mileage so I can look into this further?

I bought a 2026 Badlands Sasquatch this past weekend for my wife but could not drive home. Seems odd for a back up camera that shouldn’t be a mandatory feature.

I went to a dealer to buy a Stroppe on Friday. It was a 1.5 hour drive and they knew I was coming. When I was a half hour away they called and said I couldn't buy it tonight but I could look at it. This was after working all week and running a ton of calls for the fire department. I was exhausted and didn't need to waste an evening like that. My current winter daily driver is pretty rusty and may not pass inspection. I want to get a reliable vehicle while downsizing my number of cars at the same time. Wife loves her 24 Outer Banks and I do too. I'm a FORD guy through and through and know how to back up without a camera. (I have several Model Ts, Fairlanes, Mustangs, etc)). I wish they'd just do an over the air update and see if it works.

So I think there is some confusion regarding this latest recall. This is not for the back up camera. The recall is for the instrument panel cluster. Blank screen for the dash, not camera or infotainment screen. And I think it is for damn near all 6G Bronco’s. I previously got the back up camera recall done and now this new recall shows up for my 22 and 25 rigs.

It’s for the backup camera, more specifically, the APIM can overheat causing shutdown which can prevent the rearview camera from displaying on the infotainment screen.

There has been that recall for a little while now. I got that one done on my 25. There is a new one for the instrument panel cluster. There is a fix for the rear camera one, but not the new recall. It’s maddening.

this recall came out March 5th, I believe. I think the recall you are mentioning was from December. Technically this is not a camera recall, the camera is functioning correctly but may not display if the APIM overheats.

You are correct. I looked the other day and I saw it said instrument cluster and when I just went back it has the corrected? Information. I’m still waiting for my seat recall fix and I couldn’t wait for the shock recall fix last year so I got a new suspension 🤪

Same here. Bought my 2025 Badlands at the beginning of February and my app also shows 0 active recalls.

I am in this same situation, went to dealer on 3/07 to trade in my '22 Bronco for a new '25 Bronco Raptor. When we were about to sign documents, all of a sudden sales manager told us he could not sell us the vehicle do to the stop sale orders. They still took our old bronco trade in, gave us a ride home, and now we are waiting to be able to pick up the Raptor! Pretty rough after getting the wife to OK the upgrade!

I feel your pain. Our ‘26 sits at the dealer, we can sit in it but can’t drive it.

I purchased a new 2025 Bronco badlands Sasquatch on March 12th in the middle of the recall. The dealership gave me a 26 F150 STX as a loaner. I read today that the 25s may not get the update till late April. I sure hope I dont have to wait that long to take deliverly.

I purchased my 2025 Ford Bronco Base model on 03/17/2026, drove it for 2 days and had an issue with the tire valve stem so I brought it back to the dealership to get it fixed. Was then told that the vehicle should have never been sold to me due to the dealer hold for the recall so they are holding it until the software update is available. The dealership gave me a courtesy Bronco sport to drive until the software update is made available for the 2025 models which should be by 04/07/2026. It is very frustrating that my vehicle is being held for an update that can actually be done "over the air" when it is available.

I agree. It’s not new. I believe it came out shortly after I bought my Badlands late last September. My dealer actually called me about it the same day it showed on my app. They did the fix on my vehicle pretty quickly, maybe two hours at the most.

Went in store at lunch, came back out and there was sync update notification completed on my infotainment screen regarding the recall: Issue Date, 2026-03-04, Campaign, 26S09/26V124. Not sure if others got it yet but FYI.
