I have put bits and pieces in deferent threads and I thought I would put the journey here like so many have.
I had two employees that really want a bronco and have never 4 wheeled, so we took them to off-rodeo in Nevada on the 4 hour off road x-perience open to non-bronco owners. My wife and I had a bronco to ourselves. While our off road livery includes a 1947 Willy's (modified), 93 Bronco XLT, 2012 Polaris RZR and a F-350 Super Duty we were impressed with the new Bronco.
I researched the different trims and knew the 2 door, lockers, sway bar disconnect, V6 and lux were desirable for how we would use it. This brought me to a Badlands/Sasquatch or Heritage Limited. Within a couple days, I had put a down payment on a 23 Heritage Limited 2 door.
Then the strike and my HL was canceled (still have my name on it). So I shopped for a green Badlands with my options. Found it a couple states away with no markup.
I had the dealer paint the top and grille oxford white. Powder coat the wheel rings white, add rock lights and ditch lights by the mirrors and ship it.

Here it is when I did the deal and when it arrived at the house. Note that our Off-Rodeo trip to Moab and joining the Bronco Nation was done between buying and receiving it.

Carbide Is the material that lasts the longest.

These machines do battle with surfaces every day.

I was looking at one the other day and thinking.. hmmm

Yes, I would think surfaced on carbide would be exceptionally durable.... Not quite sure about cost though.

I run two Ruffland Crates for my Britt's...

They are the Backseat Rider and in a 4-door, I can still use the rear seats.

The first photo is looking up between the gas tank and front bracket. With the cover plate on there just isn’t very much room to work. The second photo is the cover plate that was removed.
Hey don't worry about highjacking it. If I find another choice.
Keep me posted on how they go on.

Well, I finally installed my IAG rear lower trailing arm skids. https://iagoffroad.com/iag-rock-armor-rear-lower-trailing-arm-skid-plate-for-2021-ford-bronco/
I then installed poly on them hoping to somewhat copy the Foutz design.
IAG boasts about how easy their skids install. They have a video showing how to install them and it looked really easy. They showed you how to install on the drivers side and then said follow the same steps on the passenger side. Ha! The little plate that @TK1215 posted was a real pain in the booty and didn't make the passenger side install nearly as easy as the driver's side. I finally got it installed using a little persuasion from a floor jack and a rubber mallet. 😬 I'm sure it was still easier than the Foutz install, still a little ticked that they weren't exactly honest in their install video.

I guess we'll see how they do although probably won't really test them out till next spring.

I love ruffland crates. My pooches are in XL's. One fits in the bronco but not two.
We have two in the expedition and one in the cab of my crew cab, plus one in the house just cuz.

I also have added iceco cooler. Works for me and my buddy.
I also bought a 40 QT to use when the crate isn't in.

So while at SEMA and in the rhino rack booth I finally got to see a better solution to mount my traction board.
The set up I made took up too much of the rack. So I swapped and I can set them farther to the side. This gives more room for boxes n stuff. KIMG20241123_105136542.JPG

I use this thread to track my bronco journey. And i meant to add these photos before.
Since I originally ordered a blue heritage limited that was cancelled during a Ford strike. Because of that I made my own.

Anyway when the blue one came in I was given first chance. We did a side by side comparison. We talked numbers. I kept my build.
Here's the photos of the two. KIMG1095.JPG

A couple older additions. My phone, GoPro and radio mount. Tackform, ram mounts. KIMG20241123_190215908.JPG
KIMG20241123_190233616.JPG
And this rechargeable motion sensing light. Discovered while getting my camper ready for a trip. On a camper forum.
Now along with the camper, every vehicle console has one. No more black hole.

I removed the center grab handle and replaced it with the accessory ready OEM plate. I attached a RAM mount to it.
Hopefully it will be good for the tablet. Right now I just put the radio on it.

Last year I made a skid to hold my gear for a trip to Moab. A big part was the yeti cooler.
Then @raqball and @SAVEUP started a thread on 12v coolers.
So instead of the yeti we're going with a 42qt iceco.
This means a change of storage.
Starting with the roof rack boxes.
I use the heck out of the home Depot Ridgid boxes.
On my sxs, in my pickup and bronco. These will take the commitment of drilling and bolting to the rack.

I'd just need one..

Do you have a link (or the size) to the boxes you are using? those look to be about the size I'd need. I looked but can't find them on the Home Depot website..

Thanks!
