I have put bits and pieces in deferent threads and I thought I would put the journey here like so many have.
I had two employees that really want a bronco and have never 4 wheeled, so we took them to off-rodeo in Nevada on the 4 hour off road x-perience open to non-bronco owners. My wife and I had a bronco to ourselves. While our off road livery includes a 1947 Willy's (modified), 93 Bronco XLT, 2012 Polaris RZR and a F-350 Super Duty we were impressed with the new Bronco.
I researched the different trims and knew the 2 door, lockers, sway bar disconnect, V6 and lux were desirable for how we would use it. This brought me to a Badlands/Sasquatch or Heritage Limited. Within a couple days, I had put a down payment on a 23 Heritage Limited 2 door.
Then the strike and my HL was canceled (still have my name on it). So I shopped for a green Badlands with my options. Found it a couple states away with no markup.
I had the dealer paint the top and grille oxford white. Powder coat the wheel rings white, add rock lights and ditch lights by the mirrors and ship it.

Here it is when I did the deal and when it arrived at the house. Note that our Off-Rodeo trip to Moab and joining the Bronco Nation was done between buying and receiving it.

My Badlands is a dog hauler as well. That crate looks awesome. I've been looking into something similar but a single occupancy. One concern I have is about keeping the pup cool back there. With the Broncos not having direct rear air vents blowing cool air, will the pups get overheated? Mine is super sensitive to heat. As he gets older and lives in SoCal, the summers are getting hotter and longer each year. He's getting a little long in the tooth, and the hop up into the back is fine before the adventures, but he needs help loading up after. So, I'm also looking into a ramp or steps to help other than picking him up every time.

I get it. I am in Arizona and we invented global warming. I do not like the temp getting above 90 max, in the crate. I check temp with a digital thermometer and their collars give me skin temperature.
In the crate I had made, you can see the escape hatches are huge vents and I only put holes halfway down the side to reduce fur everywhere. We haven't done a summer yet so I am unsure how cool it will be.

I had used a Ruffland XL crate to just haul one in my Bronco. For one dog, this would be far less expensive. If you add a side door, you can turn it sideways. This will help your friend getting in and out because he will have a large platform. It will also fit in long way but he will have a bigger jump in and out.
I have a few of their crates. One with doors front and rear, one with side and front door and a couple with just a front door and full vents.
For the ones in my other vehicles, I eliminated the bottom vents holes, because they have ac vents that I was able to add holes in the crate to line up with the rear ac.

A crate fan is also a great add on. I use the Milwaukee M18 cordless shop fan.

Here are a couple photos of the XL ruffland in my bronco.

turned sideways it was easy to fit and secure. Plus you can still fit a cooler in the back.

I forgot the tail gate table add. The white is from a plastic sheet I had and I wanted to make the "BRONCO" pop. I used my pass points to buy the "rattle", I mean table.
In a picture above there is blue tape on it. I marked where my air compressor goes when the crate is in so I do not mount anything on table in that spot. It will get some storage pouch's added yet. The first pouch holds dog treats. And I have added a first aid kit to the table as well.

The cool rides in the background distracted me, too… 🤩
They're both still badass. Is the Cobra a kit, a continuation or a Shelby rolling chassis?

Rattle??? Have you tried maybe Drawer bumpers? The little adhesive bumpers you get for cupboard doors and drawers that "stop" the "bang" when closed? I would think a little positive pressure on the table when it is closed might help eliminate some rattle??? Just a thought... I love the white making the Bronco "pop"... simple very effective addition. It is the little things!!!!

The Cobra is a Superformance. Fiberglass. It's not a kit. They make a complete car minus the engine and transmission in a factory. All new parts and warranty. It's recognized by Shelby as a replica.
Independent suspension. True knock off wheels, 4 wheel disc.
I originally put a 428 in it. That engine expired (at the track). It now has a true big block FE aluminum 427 slide oiler. Stroked to 482 cid. 600 HP. 665 ft pounds of torque in a 2000 pound car.
The feel and sound when It accelerates and I row through the gears is awesome. Tremic 5 speed.
Not all it's stable mate's are 4x4's.

For the rattle I used peel and stick velcro between the table and tailgate. Worked like a charm. I like finding fixes with things I have laying around.

This weekend I installed a Rhino-Rack on the OE roof rack. I got the short one, so when the roof panels are off its not in the way. Super easy to assemble and install.

Then set to work making my own maxtrax mounts. They work, but I don't like how it looks, so after an upcoming trip to Moab (less than a week away) I will redesign them. I just cant bring myself to spend $100 + for them. I know silly given all the other stuff right?

I can add my simple recovery box to the rack as well.

Everything is functional and secure, I'm just not to happy with how it looks. Really messed with the look. So.... TBD.

Looks good to me. Smart thinking with the pins locking IN the direction of highway winds and not against it.

I use the Ruffland Large side door in our 4 door. Dog gets plenty of ventilation and I feel it is safe in the RM Kennel with ratchet strap tie downs.

Great looking Bronco and stable!

Love the look!
Can you provide some details on how the top was painted? It looks smooth compared to the MIC tops I've seen.

Thanks.

Thank you.
I wish I could give details, but I had the Ford dealer I bought it from paint it before I took delivery. Since he was out of state I did not get to watch progress (and pester everyone).
It does appear that they sanded it to reduce the texture because it is smooth. It is not glass smooth and it had just enough texture left that the the PPF installer did not want to put the wrap on it. You have to look close or run your hand on it to tell.

So far it is holding up extremely well.

After Moab I inspected the underside and found that my cross members, trailing arms and rear shocks had come in contact with The State of Utah.
So had some of the factory skids plates and that was to be expected. Moab also gave me a few wheel ring scratches that are now a badge of honor.

So I installed the RCI skid plates today. Super easy install. I did shorten the bolt on the rear left skid. I felt it was a little to close to the exhaust.

I have the same cross member skids plus the rear shock/ lower trailing arms from RCI and just installed the forward rear trailing arm skids from Foutz. Will also be installing the Foutz rear differential skid. Money well spent!🤣

All those things are on my list.
I don't have any marks on the rear differential. I know you been wheeling your bronco a lot so I'll follow your lead and add dif protection.
As @Deano Bronc pointed out, I should have listened.

Sore subject. I ended up having them install them. They may or may not have had to pound them back into shape to install. And the passenger side is impossible to do without gas tank skid removal, and welding up a special tool to remove two screws on a cover plate. Having a lift will change everything. It is, how do you say, labor intensive
