Well, she rolled in today on the trailer. Took her for a short drive then pulled her in the shop and started accessorizing. First were the IAG molle door pockets. The info I saw said remove the net but I thought, why can’t I have both??? So I put them over the top and I have both. Second were the oracle fog lights. Went right in easy peasy. Then The HF road shock A-pillar lights. And that’s where I ran into my first problem. I have to decide between these lights or my antennae. Cause apparently the ford engineers are idiots. That, or buy or build offset mounting brackets which, I guess is what I’ll have to do. Tomorrow, I’ll wire up everything and hopefully get around to the winch plate and winch. But time is limited.

Tinted my front two windows myself. It’s not perfect but pretty good considering I’ve never really done it before.

Added a 3/4" body lift. A friend of mine had several different height pucks made from UHMW and these are what he didn't use so, I slapped them on mine. 3/4" doesn't sound like much but it definitely made a difference in the way it looked. Along with the upcoming OME coilovers that will provide close to 1" more of lift it should be sitting just right.

Plans for a lift? Not much space left in the fender wells, especially if you plan on taking it off-road.. I also assume the suspension, tie rods and steering rack have all been beefed up? I *think* the 2024 it came with Hoss 3 steering upgrades but not Hoss 3 suspension right?

Yes. Ordering Dobinsons soon. Yes it’s a ‘24 so it does have the upgraded steering. No to tie-rods unless they break.

With bumping up to 37’s the Dobinson’s are an excellent choice

Good looking skids. not something us 4 banger guys have to worry about. since you will be getting new shocks (someday) you might look into getting the skids for the rear attachments that is some low hanging fruit mine were pretty well bashed.
BN 1100, Desert Sand Everglades. Reservation 7/30/20. ordered 1/22/21, reordered 10/15/21 dropped tow and hard top, reordered 3/9/22 changed to Everglades. production date 9/7/22 rescheduled 9/14/22 completed 9/26/22, shipped 10/7/22, arrived 10/31/22, delivered 11/03/22

Finally got my Dobinson Coilovers installed. The front was a booger but we got it done.

We made a mistake but it turned out to be a good one, I did not loosen the axle nut and we pulled the CV apart (see pic) however upon doing so I found that it had filled with water while I was stuck in a creek a while back. Most of the grease was gone. So we filled it back up w/ some good grease and stuck it back on. As usual the other side took 1/4th of the time as the first one since we knew what we were doing. Busting the axle nut loose was a HUGE help.

The rear was pretty easy and straight forward. Didn't take near as long. Matter of fact I think I fought more with the fender liner than anything. The only thing I'm not quite happy with is the track bar. I ordered and installed the relocation bracket. However upon buttoning everything up my axle is way out of center. It looks like I didn't need that bracket after all, as my axle is sitting too far to the right. If I removed the bracket and put the track bar back into the factory position it would pull the rear end back over. So I'm either going to have to do that, or order an adjustable track bar.

The instructions for these adjustable dobinsons say not to exceed 9.5" (you measure from the center of the lower eye to the top of the lower spring perch per the instructions). in the front and 7.5" in the rear. I set mine at 7" rear and 8" front. After a short drive the front measured 1" of lift but after another short drive it settled even further and now I'm at exactly no lift in the front. So I'm definitely going to have to adjust that. The rear after a short drive was at 1" of lift as well so I'm hoping after another drive it will settle more as well. I may or may not adjust the rear. If it doesn't settle much, then lifting the front should give me a level setting across the board.

The ride quality is amazing. Again I only went for a short scoot down the hwy, but I plan to ride to town today. I'll have to go get the front end aligned, but I'm going to wait until I adjust the front up a little before doing that.

*** Update: I removed the track bar relocation bracket and now my rear axle is back almost perfectly centered. I may still order an adjustable one just ot be safe if things don't work out when I take it in for alignment.

@Lots O Fords you are absolutely correct. That could have been bad down the road. I need to pull the boot on the other side and check it as well.

Update, I adjusted the rear perches down 1/2” and that equated to right at about a 1/2” of lift height. I’ll check again after a second drive. This helps b/c now I’ll know about how much to raise the front. The rear now has 1/2” lift over stock Sasquatch. This is with the perch measurement (according to Dobinsons instructions) set at 6.5”

Got the front adjusted today. She’s sitting nice and level. That may change slightly with another drive only went about 5 or 6 miles but I crossed 2 train tracks and hit some bumps.

Currently sitting at .5” Lift rear (over stock Sasquatch) and 2” higher in front by measuring to the bumpers. HOWEVER, I don’t think that equates to exactly 2” of additional lift in the front because the front springs were already sagging due to the added weight of the winch and its mounting hardware.

Finally got around to some house keeping items. I did the spare tire delete a while back but left the cables coming thru the rubber grommet so first up was to pull them back and pass them thru the vent behind the plate. Then i covered the hole with some vinyl. Gonna see if they make a plain rubber plug for it but the vinyl didn’t turn out too bad. Removed the tire bumpers as well. I also took the opportunity to paint the plate behind the mount orange. I wanted to do this originally but only had white paint. I put a fresh coat on the plates under my steps too. I made a plate to go behind the iag logo on my tailgate hinge panel but I didn’t have enough stainless steel bolts to mount it. No black ones either. Will have to pick some up.
