Well, she rolled in today on the trailer. Took her for a short drive then pulled her in the shop and started accessorizing. First were the IAG molle door pockets. The info I saw said remove the net but I thought, why can’t I have both??? So I put them over the top and I have both. Second were the oracle fog lights. Went right in easy peasy. Then The HF road shock A-pillar lights. And that’s where I ran into my first problem. I have to decide between these lights or my antennae. Cause apparently the ford engineers are idiots. That, or buy or build offset mounting brackets which, I guess is what I’ll have to do. Tomorrow, I’ll wire up everything and hopefully get around to the winch plate and winch. But time is limited.

I can't think of anyone who haven’t gotten their pod lights installed with this issue. Usually at worst they might have to use a mounting bracket. I know that most of the manufacturers have brackets for their lights.

I may temporarily move them to the bumper and later get smaller lights for the a-pillar. Not sure yet. I’m gonna mess around with it this morning. I’ve got some scrap steel so I may build some offset brackets

Light problem solved. I just moved them out so that the outer bolt is holding the inside bracket hole. And used a flat self tap screw to hold the other side to keep it from turning. Antennae fits and I don’t need to buy brackets for now.

But I ran into another problem. Only one of my oracle fog lights is coming on.

*edit* relay that came with the lights was just bad. When I put power to both individually they both come on. So, guess I’ll run grab a new relay.

Update. After hours of fiddling with wires and changing wire harnesses and this and that and some cussing I finally decided to test the light again with direct power (this worked last week first try, leading me to believe it was between the light and power). This time, nothing. I wiggled the harness on the light itself (3 light oracle fog) and they came on. So the problem is a broken wire inside the lights harness. Meaning there wasn’t a dang thing wrong w/ MY wiring. A few more choice words and I buttoned it all back up.

I guess my choices are undo all the fancy connectors on the light and wire it all up myself, or send it back. I’ll check with oracle to see what their swap it out policy is and if it’s more trouble than just fixing it myself, I’ll go that route.

Ditch lights came right on no problem. So I got at least one win today.
