Long story short, need new tires already at 32,4xx miles (Wonder why? xD) and wanna go with something different rather than K02's, narrowed it down to Wildpeak and Open Country.

Which would you recommend and why?

I assume the Wildpeak AT3W? Which Open country are you referring to (AT or MT)? If looking for an AT, I have used the Wildpeak AT3W on my past 3 trucks and was a big fan. I'll likely consider them again when my current tires need replaced.

I personally like the Open Country AT3. I had 37" on my 22 Ram Power Wagon, currently on my 23 Jeep GC Trailhawk, and have the 35's on RTR wheels waiting on the new bronco to arrive.

On my third set of Falkens, 2 sets jeep and one set F150. I rotated and balanced on jeep every 8k miles and got about 58k miles on them firat time and they had over 40 on them when i sold Jeep and still had tread! 🐎

Can't speak to the Toyos, but I have the Falkens and love them.

Definitely not Toyo Open Country AT3.... have them on my 4runner and even if the ground is just a little damp it does not grip and gets dangerous real quick when wet on the roads. I wish I could go back and buy Wildpeaks. Mine currently have around 10k miles on them and the sliding in rain has been going on since the first rain at about 2k miles on the tires.

Have you contacted Toyo about this? I've ran two sets, totally different sizes and thankfully haven't had those issues. I had around 15K on the 22 Power Wagon before I sold it, around 14.5K miles on the Toyos. Currently have around 8.5K miles on my current Toyos on my 23 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and no issues.

I have not as it was well documented in the off road forums so I assumed they would tell me it's normal. Only thing I can think of is maybe since mine is 10PLY- E rated they are more prone to sliding with the rubber compound? We're yours E rated? I know the people on the 4runner forums that didn't have issues all seemed to not be E rated.
