Just a heads up… the Everglades wheels are now available through Ford Performance!

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1007K-P1785E

From what I’ve heard/seen, there isn’t any stock level yet, but hopefully there will be soon. I’ll be keeping an eye out for them to appear on Lethal Performance, which is my preferred Ford Performance distributor… but there are a handful of other distributors out there that are also really good. (Maybe BN could become a Ford Performance reseller too? *wink wink nudge nudge* 😉 )

EDIT—

Now available on Bronco Nation's Gear Store!

Ordered the set yesterday via my dealer and now the wait begins.

Any suggestions on tires?
Woohoo!
Well there is always BFG K02 but if you wanna be different you can do the Falken Wild peaks, or the general Grabbers or even the Hankook Dynapro MT2s. But if you have a brand of tire that works for you I would stick with that.

I heard the Nitto's are very good and not a ton of road noise. Same company as the Toyo's.

Thanks - I run BFG MT & AT on my Jeeps and they have been fine but looking for alternative rubber if there is significant benefit. Cooper Discover SST may be an option too. So many choices!

Thanks - They have a couple of different models - is there one you prefer?

Obviously not @DSTAR777 , but I can tell you that the Ridge Grapplers are by far the most popular model. For me Nittos are a bit on the pricey side, but if I could get them for a decent price I’d absolutely consider it.

I’m typically a BFG KO2 kind of guy, which I know you’re already familiar with. One of the most popular tires on the market and they come in just about any size, so it’s usually pretty easy to find them for a good price.

For Mud Terrain, I really like General Grabber X3. BFG KM3 is a close second.

My brother runs General Grabber ATx on his vehicle and loves them. I’ve driven his truck before but not enough to form an opinion of the tires personally. They’re definitely on my list though of tires to check.

I’m also really interested to check out Milestar, never owned a set personally. I had intended to buy the new Milestar Patagonia A/T Pro… but apparently one of their big suppliers was in Ukraine, so they had to delay to launch.

I was looking at the Nitro’s cause I was considering a good 34” tire for my non-Sas and I don’t think I would need a lift for them. I did a little research as I will mostly 4x4 in the snow. What I found is the K02’s are probably the best for snow you can get and they are made by Michelin. Might wait a while for tires. At least till I finish the fog lights I am waiting for.

I pulled the trigger and installed the new rims today but haven’t decided on tires so for now I have the Goodyear Territory on the Bronco.

I realize this thread has been dormant for a while, but also like these wheels and think they would go well with my HPR paint! Gonna ask here, but if this is better for a sep thread, I'll go that route...

Stock Badlands (2 door) - Can I swap to these (or any OEM Sasquatch size wheel / tire combo) without a lift? I feel like I have read before that it will work if removing the crash bars, can anyone confirm? Yeah, I know the ECM would need to be programmed to keep the speedo accurate, etc.
Thx!

Yes all you have to do is remove the crash bars.

The Sasquatch package suspension does have a very minor lift over Badlands, but it’s less than 1/2”. If you are really beating on your suspension hard… you may occasionally kiss the inner fender with your tire depending on the exact tire size you go with and the slight variations in sizes between tire manufacturers. But in the overwhelming majority of driving situations you’ll never have an issue.

(Somewhat of an aside… but you can mount the factory tires to the Everglades wheels if you didn’t want to upgrade both at once.)

This is dangerous information that I didn't consider! I was kind of thinking of keeping the OEM setup for a while in case I wanted to to do a summer / winter thing, mostly to keep OH road salt off the Everglades wheels, but that can be a bit of a headache.
Hmmm...

Reviving this thread one more time… for those that have purchased, did you have luck with regular dealer parts dept? Or do you need to go thru one of the Ford Performance dealers? Little confused about that. Looking online, looks like the places that discount also want $300 flat rate shipping, but F.P. direct will ship to a dealer for free, so kind of a wash. Thx!

Depends on the dealer. Some dealers have a partnership with Ford Performance—particularly dealers with aftermarket departments. Other dealers don't.

My dealer does not have an aftermarket department (they do have a diesel/truck shop, but that focuses largely on fleet/business customers). They can get Ford Performance parts through their normal parts channels, and it is free shipping. But the cost is the MSRP you see on the Ford Performance website.

Also keep in mind that Bronco Nation now carries the Bronco Everglades wheels as well. Not sure what their shipping is—but worth a look if you haven't already.

Thanks, I could not find these on the BN site for some reason earlier. But the shipping is little over $200 so iit’s worth having delivered to a dealer. I’ll call my selling dealer next week and see if they are an option, or ar least have them delivered there.

I purchased mine through Lethal Performance prior to them becoming available at the BN store. My dealership like many, no longer sells Ford Performance Parts. They said that there were too many stipulations on what they had to stock. As in a lot of money invested in parts that no one wants.

At the time I was purchasing the discounted price on the rims, plus the shipping cost, was still slightly less than CJ Pony Parts or others I could find who were selling them. But that was 4-5 months ago.

Yeah, I have crunched the numbers looking at the current online options. With the sale price FP direct seems to be the best deal with free pickup at a dealer. I guess I’ll earn few more points also…
Too bad BN cannot offer that as a shipping option (dealer pickup). It’s not a huge difference, but not much service after a sale with wheels, so just price shpopping🤑.
