Has anyone done a zone offroad 2 inch suspension lift on a 2023 non sas badlands ? Looking for input before I start. Extreme off road's website has no description of the process only that it takes 1 wrench out of 4 to install LOL. I did find a couple of video's but they are dated and don't reflect 2023's.

Did a 2" Level Lift on a 2021 Big Bend. Front was a little bit of a PIA, but rear was easy as could be.

Also did a 1" Leveling Kit on my 2021 BaseSquatch..... that ended up being a $500 nightmare.

I will add this, some people say to remove axle nut and pop out axle, some don't. On the BB we didn't and did NOT have any issues with the c/v axle. On the BaseSquatch we did install same exact way but somehow popped out both c/v axles (without realizing until I went to drive) and ended up replacing both. My suggestion would be to pop the axles out. Keep an eye on the threads as you back out the nut, as on one side my threads were already F****d up from the factory.

So to sum it up, it can be done, it's a 2 person job though. And idk if my issue was total user error, or shotty Ford manufacturing from 2 years ago. It's conceivable that having the sasquatch package (lifted already) played into the axles popping out, but still, seemed way to easy to break it.

Well I will say this..I put Sasquatch take off coil overs on my black diamond. Although not overly difficult, it was a pain in the a$$. Without a lift, you are on your knees and it's was a pain to lever the lower A arm down low enough to get the old shock out and the new in. I imagine after that, replacing the the upper A arm with a new one wouldn't that much of a chore. If you aren't trying to do this as cheaply as possible, I think I would just have your local shop do it. Unless you are used to doing your own mechanic work and/or have access to a lift. Definitely have someone to give you a hand.

You definitely have to loosen the lower control arm bolt.. it will let you rotate to the floor, and the shocks will fall right in. But mark the cam bolt before loosening it up. That way when u put it back together get the cam bolt back as close as possible. Then the alignment shop will take it from there.

I installed the 2 inch on 21 non sas Black diamond. Worked great. But like others have said. If you don't have plenty of tools. Jack stands, floor Jack's and or a lift.. it will make you re think life... haha but very very doable.

Thanks all ! I do have all tools jacks etc. and looking at it last night I would agree that letting the lower control arm swing looks to be the best option. I will post outcome when I'm done.

Depends on what you are trying to torque. If it's the axle nut? Yeah I'm not hitting 200 foot pounds or whatever they want. That was just a good old Dewalt Impact Gun. The rest I did try to torque to spec. Sometimes though it gets hairy hitting the torque they put out there.
