Love my running boards but they seem to highlight the ugly panel above that they connect to. Has anyone found a trim piece or something to cover this up?

I believe several solutions are out there for pinch weld seam covers. My zroads rock boards hide it enough for me. Good luck.

The JCR is nice, but I think I'd want a plastic/polymer that would not rust. Going to get a lot of water and stuff down there. Would probably drill some holes in the bottom to let it drain.

Having these graphic applied in a couple weeks. I installed rock rails and they aesthetically cover that space from a distance.

I bought my pinch weld cover kit at the local hardware store. Small can of black satin finish rustoleum and a brush. About 10 bucks I believe and looks great.

I have a set of IAG pinch weld covers for sale for a two-door. Like new, only on the truck for less than 2 weeks. DM me if interested.

I applied the Linex premium coating. It is an excellent sealant and looks great. Because it is black, it is a great compliment to the black running boards and you don’t even notice the pinch weld and those ugly holes either.

If the pinch weld cover-up doesn't appeal to you, consider upgrading your factory running boards with the ones offered by Rock Slide Engineering. They deploy automatically when you open the door and retract when the door is closed. They also act as rock sliders.

They conceal the pinch weld and give you an extra step up into the Bronco. You can also save 10% by ordering them through the Bronco Nation store:

I had the retractable running boards installed. they are lighted, hide the ugly seam and work flawlessly. I also removed the lower decals.

I bought mine off Amazon and they work great. No issues, did have to paint the front bolts black as they used the factory bolts which match the body color. I also had to take off the factory steps to install. The brand I used was Klutchtech. They made a nice finishing touch.

I installed DV8s pinch weld cover on my Bronco Wildtrak 2-door. I liked the DV8 for 2-doors since it’s one (1) piece of steel, most are two (2) pieces bolted on and together. Photo attached, just expand to view. $80 for the 2-door covers.

I installed the DV8 versions tonight. Look good but hardware was not great and could rust at this location. Going to spray fluid film along the top to help keep the rust at bay. Someone needs to sell an aluminum or carbon fiber set. Dumb to bolt steel to this area IMO.

Installed the DV8's on my wife's Heritage this weekend. Pretty simple install, will follow up on mine next weekend (you see who gets theirs installed first around here, LOL).
