I have a Warn Zeon Platinum 12s on my Rubi. It has come in handy way more often than I expected (not much for recovery, but for clearing trails and campsites and my yard after monsoons, etc). I'm looking to recreate that type of steel bumper clean install on my Badlands.

Who has done nice, minimalist winch installs on the factory modular bumper? By clean, I largely mean not a big stinger or tubular steel structure around it.

IMHO - The Ford OEM winch set up for the Mod Bumper looks the best.

But, my fave is the Everglades!

I think the rough county high mount looks the best but it doesn't hold up to hard use without additional modifications. It's shortcomings lead me to develop my frame reinforcement kit, but once the frame stopped bending then the RC mount bent.

I did the Rough Country Winch Mount and Warn EVO 10-S on my 23 BB. I also installed the Tricky Distribution Frame Rail kit for added strength. This started as a plastic standard bumper with fog lights. Added the modular bumper and then the rest.

That color is fantastic. Looks great. Luckily, in AZ, we don't have to do the front plate thing.

Thanks! The color was one of the biggest reasons I went with the Everglades. Stupid Texas makes us have a front plate, It and gives DPS a good target to shoot radar.

Warn Factory Ford Kit, I installed in 4 hours (mechanic by trade) . I really like the Moose Knuckle shackles.

RC makes a hidden winch mount. Looks fairly good, but sits too low for me.

Man that looks good! Great job.
Just a suggestion - I would get the winch cover, that Warn logo on ours faded pretty bad in less than 4 months. Also leaving that much winch line out, the sun eats those synthetic lines pretty quick.
Edit : autocorrect wench to winch

I don't remember this thread showing up when I was searching for Mod bumper mounts . I ended up with the Broaddict mount and a Badland Apex 12k .

You can look at my setup a couple of threads down. Almost all the mounts are very similar.
