Looking for some basic help getting this light bar installed.

First question, how do you run the wire from the engine bay to inside of the vehicle.

I watched this a few times:
It talks about running a wire through a grommet on the passenger side. Anyone know where that is? What is looks like extactly?

There is a grommet on the driver’s side just below and further outboard from the Aux wires on the firewall. It’s an easy run from there to driver’s footwell.

But, if you have the option for Aux switches in the cabin you are working too hard and the wires don’t need to pass into the cabin to be energized or operated.

@Bschurr answered the question already, but if you need a visual, I have a video (below) from a subwoofer install that shows the grommets and how to get through them. As I mentioned in the video there is one on the driver's side and another on the passenger's side.

Unfortunately you cannot use the Aux switch lighting to power the Heretic light bar. The wire gauge Ford provides in the Bronco is too thin to safety power the light bar. You can use the Aux switch wiring for a relay to turn on/off the lightbar (which I think is what Heretic provides in their kit), but you'll still need to run power for the light bar itself separately.

This light bar looks dazzling, but I plan on installing Bronco hood tracking sight LED lights.

I like his install EXCEPT.... when it comes to the A pillar it is so easy to remove that trim and you can make sure that your wiring does not run in front of the air bags.... I prefer not to leave that to "chance".

Thanks for the response. Yeah using the wires inside the bronco was the original plan but then Heretic posted a video saying that method was unreliable with their light bar and suggested the different approach.

This is hugely helpful. So it’s that large circular rubber thing located just behind the jug with the yellow fluid?

Got it. I’ll definitely check that out. Thank you

@Heretic looks like my light bar has been shipped and due to arrive next week. I have watched the video quite a few times and am pretty confident about the install I would love to just have 2 details worked out and if you could post a photo of:

1) The wire connections on roof at 7:30 in that video. Just need to see how the light bar is connected to the wire harness and how it fits into the weather stripping channel

2) The wire harness through the passenger side grommet. Would love to see a photo of that. I think it would be really helpful for others doing this for the first time.

Appreciate your help!
