Bronco Nation emblems arrived!!

I loved all the hype about the "premium box" that the emblems are being shipped in. How "the box is so great that you might want to save it". How about you wrap them with some bubble wrap stuff it in a shipping box and charge less. Once they're on my bronco, what does the box matter. It's not like I'll be storing them in there again.

I know its not the popular opinion in this group. But I prefer the original Bronco script for this 6G Bronco. Knowing FORD used the EBs as a template for design for the 6G, I feel like it fits better than the badges designed from the 80s-90s FSB.

FORD obviously does too, hence the script on the Heritage Editions...😉

I like the Bronco script too. I just don't have any personal attachment to the 1st generation Bronco. Never owned one, never driven one, never sat in one, and only have seen a handful in person (outside of Bronco events). I have driven a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen Bronco. Basically grew up in a 1989 Bronco XLT... countless family vacations and it was the vehicle I used for my driving test.

But yeah, the Bronco script looks solid on the 6th generation. And I'm sure for many people when they think of Bronco they think of the 1st generation Broncos and not the full-sized Broncos.

Pretty much anything is better than the refrigerator magnets Ford put on from the factory though.

I think if you remove the original sticker your still good.. with the OuterBanks everyone still knows what it is with its painted mirror caps, handles, and if non sas the painted fender flares, and the grille. So you are good!!

The aftermarket badges are smooth and most don't even look right. I got bored and added some Powered by Ford emblems that I had incase my Shelby ones ever got stolen. Though ideally I would have the Bronco script and the OBX badge centered below it which would mean moving the OBX badge if I can safely remove and reapply it. First world problems I suppose.

I removed mine from the BD.. I used a heat gun on low about a 12" away... just fanning back and fourth til the sticker got warm/hot to the touch.. then started at the point side... and pulled gently away from paint slowly while still.fanning the heat gun... it peeled right off.

It was distorted a bit.. find a flat surface dustless spot, and lay face down.. as they cool they will return to original shape... then u can reapply somewhere else.. inside tailgate, windows, etc...

I was thinking of slapping mine on the sides of a cooler. BAM! Instant Ford-branded cooler. My detailer carefully removed mine from my fenders and placed them on wax paper so I could transfer them to something else (or replace them on the fenders if I chose). Seems a waste to toss them. 😎

They come off the wax paper fairly easily??

I'm looking for a transfer medium I can use until I figure out what to do with them. This Bronco has me shopping at arts and crafts stores now. 😉

I got those, too. They're chunky metal emblems. I like how they match the silver on my bead lock trim rings.

Yeah, they were placed on Reynolds Wax Paper. I gently peeled the edges back a little and the adhesive still holds but doesn't want to permanently cling to the substrate. I think they'll bond to whatever clean surface you apply yours too afterward.

Me neither, but I wish I had a personal connection. I've loved them since I was a kid. should have gotten one when they were cheap. Now they're too low tech as a daily driver and too irreplaceable and pricey for pure off roading. A 1st Gen lost cause shell on top of a 6 Gen would be a dream.

So if I understand correctly ,provided they're carefully removed, these maintain their adhesives and can be securely re-stuck? Or would I need to apply a 3m red tape?

On day two of ownership, one of my first mods was removing those cheep a$& stickers

They can be re-applied to a clean surface. no new adhesive needed.

So exited to get mine installed today. I think they are fantastic.

Those look great! I already ordered some fender badges from another company when these were announced. I am starting to get a little bit frustrated with the company I ordered from however. I was told a TEN WEEK delivery time line, after week 10 came and went I emailed them. They emailed me back saying that they were finally getting caught up with the October and November orders, then they had the December still to ship and finally mine would ship for January. I won't list this company's name here, but come on . . . I could have hand carved these out of stone at this point.
