For those of you who have already purchased and now love your Bimini top, can you recommend the one you got?

Got the Rough Country Mesh bimini. $90. Installed it on my Bad/Squatch HT. I leave the heavy rear section on, and just remove the front 3 panels. Works great! Amazon has one for about $70, but I've had good luck with other RC products, so stayed with them. Only issue was on first install: Instructions a little lacking, and I had to file the pax side clip that goes in the front top/windshield lock down hole. Didn't want to snap in. a tiny bit of file work, and presto, EZ Peezy.

Otherwise, well made and I'd b y one again.

I ordered the canvas from Ford and Returned it. Silly gimmick in my opinion. I intended on having it installed and rolled back under the MOC so if I had no top and the weather changed while out I could quickly unroll and install. The procedure is basically as involved as reinstalling the top so not as smooth nor quick as one would think. Most disappointing though is that the images looked like it had a zipper "sun roof" so you could have it installed and unzip if you took the front roof panels off. These zippers, by design, are purely incase a single person is installing it so they can reach through. That is a ridiculous permanent solution to a temporary problem essentially compromising the integrity and weather proofing of the cover. Just one person's opinion. Too bad too since I got 20% off. I'm hoping Ford or the aftermarket comes out with something better.

Checked all the straps last night for potential rubbing - none found...

Little suprised honestly, as I have not been impressed with the paint quality or thickness on the Bronco.

But for the Bimini top, no scratches or rubbing found. (2 weeks in, driving in all conditions (in town, highway, off road)
I have noticed alot of orange peel on mine. Odd with all the delays on chips ect seems like the other items could have been minutely detailed. Oh well atleast it doesn't peel off like gm vehicles.

Additional Info: My RC Biminin folds back nicely and stays under the rear HT section, above the crossover rollbar when not in use.

I am considering the Bestop Bimini top offered on the Ford site. Any opinions?

Recommend - Still enjoy mine.
Been a solid 2+ Weeks without MIC on now.
However, I will be putting MIC on Saturday night, as I have a fairly lengthy drive so will updated on how I like the mesh with MIC installed.

Get the Ford Bimini Top! There are 3 zippers and they make a huge difference with air flow for front and rear passengers.
Is that the canvas one or the mesh one?

Spot on review! I bought the same one for the same reasons and same plans as one of my first non parts counter purchase with a similar discount. Like you I returned as I was equally disappointed.

Been eyeing this, just can't justify $300.
I'm sure it's worth it just not convinced my dollars to uses ratio would pay off. It looks like a high quality product.

I bought the Mabett Bimini sunshade for my 4 door. Install was really simple and I like the fact that I can leave the bimini top on when I pull my soft top back over. I’ve had the vehicle up to 65 mph so far and it didnt have any issues.

I have his Bikini for the 2DR and it's going on Tomorrow. I just need to move some stuff around in my storage unit to make room for the Hard Top..

I wish I had room in my garage for the hard top but it's a tiny single car and the entire roof of it is taken up by the garage door opener..

I will leave it on until winter so I'll have a good amount of testing in the great PNW rain, rain, and rain some more fest we get here.. I am not worried about the interior getting semi wet as long as the electronics up front are protected I am good...

I can tell you that you wont be dissatisfied with the quality. Also my margin is very low on these. No pressure, I have a real job and this is just a fun side gig for me, but so far 190+ very happy customers :)
