Does anyone have recent experience with MEK Magnet Trail Armor? Still deciding between MEK and a permanent PPF.

I believe @ChaseGentry has the Ugly Sweater MEK Magnet. Maybe he can shed some light, I don't know if it will fit his Raptor so he might not use it anymore. It is going to be much more durable than the PPF but I would not install it unless my rig was super clean or it could scratch your finish. it doesn't cover everything but most areas that will get scratched. The soft plastic fender flares will get beat up the most. I don't have any pinstriping but I have large gashes in the flares. Personally I am just going to let the Bronco age naturally and if I need to repaint or wrap it I will cross that bridge in 20+ years, but I don't mind some patina. 😁

Thanks for the input. My beauty rings on the Wildtrak wheels took the beating last time out. I feel like I got off easy but won’t be so lucky next ride out. I’m trying to postpone the inevitable I guess.

Ford Bronco Armor is reusable up to 200 times....????.... sticks with "nano technology" ????
because well magnets do not stick to aluminum. I kind of question durability.

Good point the Bronco is mostly Aluminum body panels.
the only thing I know about Magnets is if you get them wet they are ruined.

Probably millions of those magnetic signs used on commercial vehicles with good results even in the rain but the Bronco is Aluminum, so they use a cling type gel to attach. For the price I may try them out this summer.

I make them and sell them. I also try to talk people out of them. People do not clean behind them often enough and they scratch the hell out of and gloss coat. They fly off on the interstate. I hear about it all the time. People forget about them and run through the car wash. Hot water will seriously curl the magnet rendering it useless. I do not like magnets. But if you want one I will make it and sell it to you.

I did have someone insist on one over the phone. I made it, they picked it up and immediately came back telling me my magnet did not work..... Yea... they had a new Ford F150.... 😩
