Some pics….

Very interesting & thanks for sharing but, looks like anything stored in there would rattle around and drive me absolutely nuts!

First pic shows that it has a rubber lining so that should stop rattles and rolls. Will be a great place for my wife to put her phone and stuff.

Curious as to if the air bag blows will it send the contents of the tray towards the passenger like bullets. Looks nice but makes me wonder.

Agreed. This is a bad idea. What's next, a steering wheel-mounted cupholder? Forget airbags that kill people. Now it's cell phones, pens, and other useless bric-a-brac that will do us in. Not to mention whacking that thing with your knee while getting in. Sorry, hard pass.

On the plus side, it looks like the tray integrates smoothly with the vent scallop.

Good points all. My real motivation in getting this was my wonderful wife put a gouge into the dash piece beneath where it goes. When I drive her to work she has purses and bags and some of them have metal dingles attached.
This item covered the gouge beautifully. Looks good and protects the area from future assaults. It is 95% of the time just me and the dogs crated in the back. Therefore when my wife rolls with me I will make sure nothing is in the tray. However, her purse is a whole other danger zone🤣

Yeah, those purses are like, annoying! My wife got something like this in her Explorer, need one for the Bronco. Purse hangs behind the seat, much better!

And that's why I wish they gave women's clothes better pockets. Some men might not know how lucky they are -- your pockets go down mid thigh 😂
