I recently purchased some molle panels for my rear windows. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any straps or attachments for mounting items to the panels.

Planning on mounting my recovery gear, rope/soft shackles/shovel/first aid kit so that it is not taking up the cargo space on my trunk floor. Likely will need some attachments of different sizes to accommodate everything.

BRob3, do you have these? If so can you provide a real product review, pros/cons.

Thanks,

Quick Fist clamps (or Harbor Freight has some similar ones for less) are great for holding things like a shovel or axe. Just have to be careful of the various sizes to ensure it fits securely around what you want it to hold.
I also got a tactical molle pouch to hold odds and ends, like a few small tools, moved my tire puncture kit to it, form the hard case it came in, etc.
Soft shackles can just go thru the square holes on the panel, at least that is my plan when I throw in the back to go off raoding.

Excellent! Most of the items I have already installed on my MOLLE panels had straps on them already, but I've spotted these on the DV8 website. All of my MOLLE panels are from DV8. Great products and customer service!

We use some Velcro straps that came with buckles. It comes in a roll with several buckles you cut to fit then add the buckle. They work very well.

I used the crap outa some Velcro straps! They work great, only issue I had was the shovel or axe vibrating against the panel. Even with a cover, it still made a noise I didn't like, haha. The quick fist clamps keep it away from the penal enough there is no contact.

For stuff like that (fire extinguisher for example) I used some foam rubber pipe insulation (armaflex) between it and the molle, and then pulled those Velcro straps as tight as possible. But I’ll admit it I am cheap, and a DIYer so I’ll sped twice as much making something cheaper than I could buy.

Haha, I am a cheapskate my wife says. I have bought/sent back Amazon a bunch of stuff. I did buy a fire extinguisher mount for the roll bar, easy access and removal if needed in a hurry. it is not in that pic, but is to the left of the axe, facing the rear of the Bronco so I can open the door and grab it quickly.
I'll also say, I have mounted items, then moved them several times, trying to get more useable space as I acquire new stuff I probably don't need. 😀

I do have one of their toolkits that comes with 18 "loops" of varying sizes (either 8" or 16") and an assortment of different "studs" to fasten the loops together. I like that you can link multiple loops together in order to make a larger one and it holds pretty well. I really haven't used them enough to come up with any cons at this point.
