Hi All, here are DYI instructions to mount your Hi-Lift X-treme Jack or Hi-Lift with X-treme Top Clamp attachment to the roll bar of either a 2DR or 4DR Bronco using parts you can pick up from Ace Hardware or similar store (see attached pdf).

Big thanks to Tony C for figuring this out on his 2DR Bronco and sharing at Bronco Base Camp (KOH 2023).

Enjoy all, and keep your Hi-Lift safe and clean.

I "swear" it was there the first time when I hit post. Went into the ether I guess. Now "re"-attached. Sorry all.

Tony's done a lot to his Bronco, that's for sure! Thanks for posting in case someone wants to look into going this route.

This sounds like a great option. Can anyone share more pictures of the installation and hardware?

Here's a better view with the hardtop off. The pipe foam is holding a cheater pipe and serves as a cushion to prevent banging your head on the jack. I've also revised the instructions (attached) and now use automotive studs for mounting, which makes it easier to screw on the mounting knobs because you don't have to hold the jack against the roll bar at the same time. Cheers....Highlift mount.JPG

BTW, I've been to Moab twice in the last month (Jeep Safari and Bronco Safari) and this mounting system has held up well to a lot of on trail force and vibration.

One small mod- I used wing nuts instead of knobs. They were out of knobs at the ace, but it worked out for me

will this work with soft top? actually.. now that I think about it, I wonder if my Mabett rear speaker pods might interfere..
