I second Mabbet. I have the interior lights in my Warthog, so bright, love them.I

I second that. I only wish each light could be turned on/off individually, irrespective of door status or the central button. My daughter is a book worm, and loves to read if we're doing mileage. I think a simple battery-powered LED spotlight is my solution.

They make lights designed to clip onto a book cover, that might be an idea.

The @Mountains2Metal Squatch Basket is the best easy add-on for the interior in my opinion. I keep my sunglasses and stuff like that in it (out of the way of everything) and have my GMRS mic secured to it. Perfect.

Great call on the Sasquatch basket. I held off for a while since I thought it was a bit pricey for what it is but pulled the trigger on a discount holiday special. It is great. Glad I did it. Thanks for sharing It first!

I recommend the Pura Vida recovery board rack/basket and the Mountains 2 Metal Basket that sits by the upfitter switches. Really helps with storing stuff up and out of the way, since the storage in the truck seems to need a little bit of help.

I have the Pura Vida rack also. A great use of wasted space

I just got the double "saddle bag" storage boxes that fit over the center console. I have driven with them for about 30 minutes, and I am taking it out. For me, the back corner of the driver side pouch hits me right at the top of the calf. Going back and forth from gas to brake and back, I banged my leg about 50 times.
Given how little knick-knack storage there is in these things, I am really sorry this did not work out...

I have that issue some as well. That's why I'm hesitant to get the door pockets. I feel these would end up just taking away leg room and I'd constantly be rubbing against it. Tell me otherwise.

Mine are DV8, and they work well for me.

I have the Mabett ones from Amazon ($35). They have not gotten in my way at all. And when I lean my leg against the door pocket, it is the smooth, flat part of the pocket, and is not painful or unpleasant.
I am quite happy with the Mabett version.

Not sure you can fit as large of bottles in the mabett version. Looks like it's more for slender water bottles.

Old thread, but what the heck, I’ll chime in. I can second @Bluestreak57’s recommendation for the DV8 MOLLE panel door pockets. They don’t rub my legs at all and they are low-profile enough to allow stowing in the door bags. Great, sturdy construction and they look dynamite. I liked them so much that I bought their MOLLE panels for the console, roof, and side windows.

Also, I would strongly recommend any device mount solutions offered by TACKFORM. I’ve got their dash mount system and it’s both practical and well designed. Apart from that, it’s in matte black finish so it doesn’t cause any undesirable reflections in the windshield in bright sunlight. I also got their magnetic mic mount that bolts (grips) the dash near the hero switches. No drilling necessary. All rock-solid performing products!

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

For those of you who have used the Mountains 2 Metal Squatch basket ( @Hobgoblin , @RustysBronco , @Mal ), do y'all have soft tops? (Mal's picture looks like it might be a soft top.)

With a hard top, the basket is just sitting there, locked in by the roof panel. In their video, they recommend that if you take off your hard top, you toss the basket in the back seat. This seems... inelegant.

What has been your experience?

I run a softee so I cant help you on the hard top. But with the panels off, I would think you could just hook in the normal mounting hardware- Its just a threaded retaining clip and a thumbscrew. I guess it would depend on how often and for how long you had the hardtop (or at least the two front panels) removed. I could see how if you had something like the EZ-offroad(?) flip-back kit on your front panels and were always flipping those open the squatch basket could be a bit of a pain.

I have yet another interior accessory question for the Brain Trust:

How do you strap down the stuff in the back when you go off roading? I know some people have the back of their Bronco so well organized that all the layers are locked down. But let's say we have not "built-out" the back.

Cargo nets I have seen are not nearly large enough, and perhaps not robust enough to keep heavy stuff from flying at you in a roll-over or similar.

Any recommendations?

I have a 2’x4’ covered plywood panel as a shelf that keeps my storage totes secure. And if not I utilize ratchet straps criss cross to the tie down hooks. This is only for my four door.1754517078804.jpeg

I like the stackable bauer tool boxes from harbor freight. They seal up nice and the lids latch well for the cost. I have them staged and ready to go, so they are pretty easy to dump in the back and take off on the trail. Its not like a Scandinavian architect put it together or anything, but they are sort of labeled and organized enough for me to put my hands on anything I am looking for in pretty short order.

I secure everything in the back end to the tie down hooks- Generally with a ratchet strap (like @TK1215 suggested), but sometimes with just the cargo net . Nothing has come loose even when it gets a little sporty on the trail, and if you put some tension on the net (like say with two tool boxes, and a tool roll) it is pretty taut. I do also make sure to always pull on the strap and say "That aint goin' nowhere", so nothing should ever move. 😊

One trick I did, that works pretty well- I put stainless steel climbing anchors on the rear rollbar. I used the threaded holes, and just ran them in with a bolt. Gives me other options to secure stuff in the back. I will try to snap a photo lunch-timeish.

Great Idea, @Mal … was just looking at those empty bolt holes yesterday since my top is currently off…
