Cell phone notifications through radio

When I first got my Bronco I can set the radio through Bluetooth to hear my cell phone notifications through the radio speaker. I could also hear Waze notifications from the radio speakers. Not car play.

I unintentionally turned down the volume when they were speaking and can’t get the volume back up. Feels like it’s a matter of timing that I’m failing at. Has this happened to anyone else and any thoughts on how to fix?

Perhaps have someone call your cell while you answer while sitting behind the wheel with you hand on the volume knob…

@SFielder has the right idea. Cell phone notification volume can only be adjusted while notifications are happening, so let the phone ring while you adjust the volume. Also, remember if your phone is silenced, it will silence notifications over Bluetooth as well.
