I don’t really know what to call these so I’m having a hard time searching for them. Has anyone seen any accessories out there that are essentially trim plates to bolt on or snap on over the horizontal surfaces exposed when the hard top is off?

I haven’t seen any on the market yet.
I believe your referring to bed rail caps.
I just made my own.
A couple of pics while doing fitments.
If I find
a finished pic I’ll post it.

Actually they were for a Ram I believe,
Still in the Box 8’. For $50.
I assume he had them for a long time and figured just to get rid of em.
Gonna put the other half of them on my Buddys rails. Obviously the have to be modified a bit , but a descent hack saw blade shapes them nicely. .
I did use 3/4 x 4” pvc trim underneath as a spacer ,so the roll of the rail cap fit just right into the Body roll on the truck.

these are the 4’ left over that I’ll use for
@Jae22280 2Door.
The one on the right has been cut out to fit around the B Pillar already.
I used the better half of the caps , that had the pre rounded shape that would curve around towards the tailgate corner.

I haven’t tried them,
But it appears that f 150 caps would work great,
Try to get em without stake holes.

Here’s a finished pic .
The photo just doesn’t do it justice.
It DEFINITELY looks very beefy back there in person.
The Bed rail caps were somewhat easy.
The Bed Tube Rail took a bit more engineering to make sure they were strong enough mounts to take any abuse.
This removes as one piece and bolts down in the same tapped holes that are used for the hardtop.

the hidden framework under the bed cap. To support the Steel Bedrail Tubes.
Absolutely NO drilling or modifications to the Bronco itself. Thin rollaway toolbox “drawer liner” used between the assembly and the Bed.
