Help! So I was looking into a portable air compressor and a winch. Any thoughts on which are the best bang for your buck! I like the ARB brand for air compressor but they are so dang expensive!! How about a portable winch? I think I have the capable bumper?? (I have no idea what I have just that it is steelš¤£) and have the 2.7 with Lux package so I donāt want to mess with a new bumper or hidden winch where things have to be modified or rerouted to make them work. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I just re-read this and although that's good info, I think you missed the point. The person you quoted was doing that but making a point relative to a hidden winch mount making it harder to access the winch. A winch mount that has the winch inside the bumper makes it more difficult to maintain the winch, clean it, service it and the cable, etc.
I just took a look at my original post that you quoted, and it looks like the site bit us again. My post was in response to one by another users (@BostonBadlands) where he was talking about how when he unspooled his new winch and the rope came right off. I guess I didn't put it very well, and should have said something more like "Yeah, that's just another reason to respell a new winch" before I went into the reason I stated. My bad, I wasn't clear.

Thanks. This forum posting at its best: working with the truck, and your gear, and giving us real-world feedback. Glad you got the gear you need!
For people not familiar with the boards, Tricky Dick is a sponsor and product distributor who can be found on Bronco6G.com. I notice he has it on sale for $155, hard to beat. https://td-distributing.myshopify.com/
Also keep in mind Tricky Dick only has 100 total so he may not have that many left.
Finished the 4 tire inflator. This setup is awesome. Used it to air down all 4 to 20 psi.
Aired all 4 back up in 3.5 minutes.
All ready for next weekend!

Looks good. I am planning on using a 6 way and use the other two port to add a schrader valves and and two of the air down chucks so it will stop airing down at the pre-determined pressure and Iāll have twice the air coming out. And I can use one if I need to air up at a gas station or with my home compressor. I donāt know if it will be faster but in my tiny little brain it makes sense. Just have to drop the hammer on the parts they are already in my wifeās Amazon shopping cart. Actually hoping she will buy something and end up buying this stuff by accident.

The quick disconnect will connect to my garage compressor hose but the portable is still faster. I may put a Schrader on a quick disconnect to air down.

These types of cable bags are great for your 4 way inflator. I have extras if people can't find them.

If i may ask, what type of air chucks did you use for your 4 tire setup, sir? I am having trouble finding the right ones online. Thanks in advance.
I used these, they attach to the valve stem. I was thinking of doing a write up of a whole system if that would interest you.
Thank you sir. I saw a similar build on Instagram but when i was looking for parts on Amazon i was unable to source the chuck due to the fact that i didn't realize it was actually 2 parts! Lol! This clears it up. Thanks again!
