There is a ton of message on the forum regarding those buyers who switched from HT to ST during the early days due to issues with the HT during manufacturing. I have had mine for about two years and would like to see about ordering a HT from Ford. I do not see any options and remember Ford noting this would be an option in the future.
1. Have they not released HT for direct purchase?
2. Any sense of the price / performance of the HT from Ford versus third party?

Thanks...
Note: Sorry if this is answered somewhere else...there are a ton of messages regarding HT all over the forum and some pretty contested discussions. Just looking for a simple answer and other guidance.

1. I don't know, but you could probably find out by calling your dealer's parts department. My guess: they laugh.
2. $5-10k for this after market hard top. I would recommend waiting for the factory hard top, but I bought my Bronco in Dec 2021 so it could be a grass is greener type situation. Here's the make that I'm looking at. It does look cooler than factory. https://www.advfiberglass.com/collections/ford/bronco+2023?sort_by=manualADV-Bronco-Hard-Top-48_1200x1200_crop_center.jpg

It's about $10K if you order it in parts. There are no other ways to order a HT from Ford.

I switched to the ST when they told me the Modular wasn't going to be available. I'm a first hour order, with the change I rec'd mine in September 2021.

Recently I purchased the Anderson Composites Hard Top and I'm very happy with it, a couple of bumps on the road all immediately taken cared of. If I was asked to recommend a hard top I'd recommend the Anderson over the factory MIC.
