I’ve dug and dug but can’t find much on swapping the plastic rear bumper to the badlands steel rear bumper. I assume most go after market but I’m curious if there are issues with the sensor holes and the wire harness. I know the front is a pretty clean swap from plastic to mod but I can’t find much on this rear swap.

Can’t help you with the technical aspects of your question but I applaud 👏 you for the idea.
IMO the plastic rear bumper is extremely ugly and cheapens the Bronco’s ruggedness.

I figured the badlands isn’t as bad and if I can score a cheap take off it’s worth it. I just can’t figure out if the harness works because I’m pretty sure the sensors are in slightly different spots.

I am trying to do the same thing. If I can get my hands on the bumper, I’ll post up what I find.
4dr OBX, 2.3, Carbonized Gray Metallic, high package, mod bumper, soft top, 33” BFG KO2s.
