Removable Hoop Steps for Bronco

The recent update to build and price brought a new option for removable hoop steps that seem to attach to Bronco. We've gotten a few pictures of what they look like on and off the Bronco. This will give you some idea of what is involved with removing them and putting them back on again.

EDIT:
Some clarifications from Ford.

1. The rails that the steps attach to are not the same as the rock sliders that are available on Bronco. They cannot hold the weight of the vehicle.
2. The steps do not work with existing rock rails. It's a different profile.

Of these 3 clamp-on options, I like the looks of IAG also, and pricing helps too.
I saw somewhere that Mabe tt was also coming out with a similar product, but only see the longer steps from them on Amazon. Anyone see those yet?
What is the third option? I am only aware of the ar and iag options. Wouldn't mind taking a look at another option.

If you're a member of B6G you can knock 20% off the price on the ARs. On a four door that's a chunk of change. I like the look of the black AR Stirrups.
Four door Badlands, 2.7, Lux, Area 51, Leather, Sasquatch, Mic Top.

Ya, that would be almost 200 off for a 4 door. And I do like how the attach

I don't have either, but prefer the clamp design of the AR steps vs the set screw of the IAG. Watching one of the videos of someone installing the IAG steps, you can see where they dented/scratched the rails just from the set screw. Yes, I know, they are supposed to be sacrificial parts.
Interesting, have not seen that. My thought with that set screw is that it’s only there to keep a little tension and stop them from being lifted up and off. Little thread locker and not much force needed on the screw, but probably easy to overtighten. I’m with you on the part being sacrificial but no reason to pierce the paint and start rusting early.
My Bronco is supposed to be built around end of This month, so makes sense for me to wait and see the rails firsthand I guess.

I suppose maybe those little plastic nubs, like you put on the end of closet wire shelving, would work on those screws, too.

I didn’t explain that very well, but I was including the Mabett option along with AR and IAG. I dug a little more and found this YT video but the product link says “not currently available” so no pricing.

looks like they clamp around the slider like the IAG style.

Wow! I really like this one. Looks like it connected very similar to the AR Stirrup, not set screwed into the rail like the iag one. Mabett stuff is usually priced pretty reasonably too.

We need to research this. Earlier today I messaged them on g6 but have not heard back.

Well, I pulled the trigger on archetype racing stirrups. With the bronco6g20 discount code I got just under 200 off the set of four.

Now I just need a bronco...

Ha! I was getting close to ordering also. But decided to wait til my Bronco is here, hopefully in a month or so now.

Mine is a 2 door, so was just planning on 2 steps originally, but we will use the back seat occasionally. So now think the longer / full side step that kicks out a little closer to the rear would look better than 4 small steps on the 2 door. Unless the front seat slides far enough forward that a single stirrup could still help with access to and from the back seat? I also noticed on the long side IAG version, there are still only 2 set screws per side, which I like.

It’s been over 6 months since I crawled into a 2 door so gonna wait until I meet mine in person.
