I am in Livermore, CA and just picked up my Cactus Grey Wildtrak Bronco last week. Not used to buying a car without the basics. I guess this is the fun part of owning a toy and building on it.
I am looking for some recommendations on:
  1. Rock Slide Options: (i will probably never go rock crawling. Offroading for sure sometimes). I am loving the look on Hoop Steps. Are they practical though when you are climbing up and cleaning the roof panels.
  2. Mud Flaps: for the front
  3. Grab Handles that Fold: and not cover the visibility from windows.
  4. All Weather mat for the cargo area
  5. Coloring Front Tow Hooks: Do i have to get the whole bumper removed to take those off to get them painted?
  6. Coloring Beadlock Rings: I am thinking, i could just remove these and get them painted instead of buying the colored ones for $750, right?

I guess I will be done with these few additions for now.

Oooo, this is the one I can't really help you with. I will be smashing my Bronco against rocks, so steps were a no-no for me.

I will say there are two that perked my interest:

  • Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders - They are powered step-sliders. Open the door and steps pop down, close the door and then fold up to become rock sliders. VERY pricey, but Bronco Nation has a 10% discount if you become a member (which in this case would pay for the membership and then some). Store link.
  • Archetype Racing Stirrup & Magnum Stirrup - Again... pricey, I don't know why I'm attracted to the most expensive options, but I am. They look great though. Link and Link.

I will also say I really liked the look of @Calgecko's steps—I have no idea what they are or how much they are, but they looked great. That said... he's a photographer, so he could probably make anything look good.

Mud Flaps: for the front

Another one of those with lots of options. I personally hate the look of mud flaps, so I got these: IAG Mini Mudflaps

Here's me attempting to be a YouTuber as I installed them:

Grab Handles that Fold: and not cover the visibility from windows.

I'll be honest, not sure what you're referring to here. And you talking about the paracord grab handles that people often install?? Except... grab handles that don't hang down like the paracord ones.

All Weather mat for the cargo area

I got the ones linked below from Ford Accessories. Came out to be $Free with the FordPass points I got from purchasing the Bronco.

Coloring Front Tow Hooks: Do i have to get the whole bumper removed to take those off to get them painted?

Yes. Ford Performance Parts also offers some pre-painted if you wanted.

Bronco Nation does offer a discount for Ford Performance, but for whatever reason they only offer a small fraction of the Ford Performance parts, and unfortunately those tow hooks aren't among the parts they offer.

Coloring Beadlock Rings: I am thinking, i could just remove these and get them painted instead of buying the colored ones for $750, right?

You definitely could!

I've seen a lot of people that had a local powder coating shop do a custom color. And I've also seen a fair amount of people do rattle-can specials in their driveway. Whatever works for you.

Shameless plug: I have a set of the silver rings, and will happily trade you a set of the black rings if you are interested. Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the country, so we'll have to cross-ship them to each other. But let me know if you're interested.

And congrats on the Wildtrak!!
